राजस्थान ही नहीं उत्तर भारत का सबसे बड़ा सरकारी अस्पताल राजधानी जयपुर में स्थित एसएमएस अस्पताल है। यह अस्पताल इतना बड़ा है कि इसमें राजस्थान के अलावा गुजरात, उत्तर प्रदेश, मध्य प्रदेश और आसपास के राज्यों के लोग इलाज के लिए आते हैं। यहां कुछ मशीन ऐसी है जो देश के चुनिंदा अस्पतालों में ही है। लेकिन उसके बावजूद भी अस्पताल की दुर्दशा अक्सर सामने आती रहती है।

अब ताजा मामला 21 जून का है, लेकिन उसका वीडियो सोशल मीडिया पर अब वायरल हो रहा है। दरअसल जयपुर के ग्रामीण क्षेत्र में स्थित थानागाजी कस्बे का रहने वाले किसान विक्रम का थ्रेसर मशीन में हाथ आ जाने के कारण चोटिल हो गया था। कटा हुआ हाथ लेकर परिजन पहले तो निजी अस्पताल में गए थे। उसके बाद एसएमएस अस्पताल में इलाज के लिए आए थे। यह घटना 18 जून को घटित हुई थी।

कटा हाथ लेकर आए थे घरवाले
जयपुर के एसएमएस अस्पताल के पॉलीट्रोमा वार्ड में जब मरीज विक्रम को लाया गया तो उसके परिजन कटा हुआ हाथ भी उसके साथ ही लेकर आए थे। डॉक्टर का कहना है कि हाथ लगाने का समय निकल चुका था, इसलिए मरीज के परिजन ने उसे वार्ड के बाहर एक डस्टबिन में डाल दिया था। इस डस्टबिन में से यह हाथ कैसे गायब हुआ और कुत्ता ऐसे कैसे लेकर गया, इस बारे में जांच पड़ताल कर रही है ।

खतरे से बाहर है मरीज
डॉक्टर ने बताया मरीज का इलाज अब किया गया है। कल रात को ही उसकी सर्जरी की गई है। वह अब खतरे से बाहर है, लेकिन उसका हाथ लगने की स्थिति में नहीं था इसलिए उसे नहीं लगाया जा सका है। उसे 3 दिन डॉक्टर के ऑब्जर्वेशन में रहना होगा। जिस स्तर पर भी गलती की गई है, उसे दंड देने की तैयारी की जा रही है।

When patient Vikram was brought to the polytrauma ward of SMS Hospital in Jaipur, his family members had also brought the severed hand along with him. The doctor says that the time for transplanting the hand had passed, so the patient's family had thrown it in a dustbin outside the ward. Investigation is being done on how the hand disappeared from the dustbin and how the dog took it away.

The patient is out of danger
The doctor said that the patient has been treated now. He underwent surgery last night. He is out of danger now, but his hand was not in a condition to be transplanted, so it could not be transplanted. He will have to remain under the doctor's observation for 3 days. Preparations are being made to punish the person at whose level the mistake was committed.
