बीकानेर। शहर में शुक्रवार की सुबह कोड़मदेसर नहर से एक युवक का शव मिलने की सूचना ने पूरे इलाके में सनसनी फैला दी। नहर के पास सुबह टहल रहे स्थानीय लोगों ने पानी में तैरता हुआ शव देखा, जिसके बाद उन्होंने तुरंत पुलिस कंट्रोल रूम पर खबर दी। सूचना मिलते ही संबंधित थाने की पुलिस टीम मौके पर पहुंची और शव को बाहर निकलवाया।

पुलिस के अनुसार, मृतक की उम्र लगभग 20 से 25 वर्ष के बीच प्रतीत हो रही है। युवक के कपड़े सामान्य थे और फिलहाल किसी तरह की बाहरी चोट के स्पष्ट संकेत नहीं मिले हैं। हालांकि, मौत का कारण अभी साफ नहीं हो पाया है। पुलिस ने शव को कब्जे में लेकर पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भेज दिया है।

घटना स्थल पर काफी संख्या में लोग इकट्ठा हो गए। स्थानीय लोगों ने बताया कि सुबह करीब 6 बजे किसी ने नहर में कुछ तैरता हुआ देखा, पास जाने पर शक हुआ और तुरंत पुलिस को सूचना दी गई। मौके पर पहुंची पुलिस ने ग्रामीणों और राहगीरों से पूछताछ की, लेकिन मृतक को कोई पहचानने वाला नहीं मिला।

पुलिस अब आसपास के इलाकों, गुमशुदगी रिपोर्ट और सीसीटीवी कैमरों के आधार पर मृतक की पहचान स्थापित करने की कोशिश कर रही है। वहीं, पोस्टमार्टम रिपोर्ट आने के बाद यह स्पष्ट होगा कि युवक की मौत कैसे हुई—डूबने से या किसी अन्य वजह से।

स्थानीय थाना प्रभारी ने बताया कि फिलहाल मामले की गहन जांच जारी है। यदि किसी ने युवक को पहचाना हो तो पुलिस से तुरंत संपर्क करने की अपील की गई है। मृतक के मोबाइल, दस्तावेज या अन्य सामान के संबंध में भी पुलिस जानकारी जुटा रही है।
