बीकानेर। नशे के अवैध कारोबार पर पुलिस की सख्ती जारी है। इसी कड़ी में श्रीडूंगरगढ़ पुलिस ने सरदारशहर रोड स्थित एक होटल पर बड़ी कार्रवाई करते हुए भारी मात्रा में डोडा पोस्त जब्त किया है। पुलिस ने गुप्त सूचना के आधार पर होटल में दबिश दी, जहां तलाशी के दौरान करीब 1 किलो 880 ग्राम अवैध डोडा पोस्त मिला। पुलिस ने तुरंत नशीला पदार्थ जब्त करते हुए होटल संचालक को गिरफ्तार कर लिया।

जानकारी के अनुसार, पकड़े गए आरोपी की पहचान कैलाश पुत्र कालूराम के रूप में हुई है, जो उसी होटल का संचालक है। पुलिस ने बताया कि होटल परिसर में इस अवैध नशीले पदार्थ को छिपाकर रखा गया था और इसकी खरीद-फरोख्त के संबंध में प्रारंभिक तथ्य सामने आए हैं। हालांकि पूरा नेटवर्क, सप्लाई चैन और खरीदारों तक पहुंचने के लिए पूछताछ जारी है।

पुलिस टीम को पहले से सूचना मिली थी कि होटल में नशे का सामान लाया गया है। इसके बाद श्रीडूंगरगढ़ थानाधिकारी के निर्देशन में टीम को कार्रवाई के लिए भेजा गया। मौके पर पहुंचकर पुलिस ने होटल की तलाशी ली और संदिग्ध स्थानों की जांच की। तलाशी के दौरान पैकेट में भरा डोडा पोस्त मिला, जिसे मौके पर ही जब्त कर लिया गया।

अवैध नशीले पदार्थ की बरामदगी के बाद पुलिस ने तुरंत होटल संचालक को हिरासत में लिया और उसे थाना ले जाकर पूछताछ शुरू की। प्रारंभिक पूछताछ में पता चला कि आरोपी लंबे समय से इस काम में शामिल रहा है और होटल को छिपे हुए गोदाम की तरह इस्तेमाल किया जाता था। पुलिस अब यह भी पता लगा रही है कि आरोपी के साथ और कौन लोग जुड़े हुए हैं।

पुलिस अधिकारियों का कहना है कि बीकानेर और आसपास के क्षेत्रों में नशे के खिलाफ अभियान तेज किया गया है। लगातार निगरानी, मुखबिर तंत्र और रैकी के आधार पर अलग-अलग स्थानों पर कार्रवाई की जा रही है।

During the search, approximately 1 kg 880 grams of illegal opium poppy pods were recovered. The police immediately seized the narcotics and arrested the hotel owner.

According to information, the arrested accused has been identified as Kailash, son of Kaluram, who is the owner of the hotel. Police said that the illegal narcotics were hidden in the hotel premises, and preliminary facts regarding its purchase and sale have come to light. However, questioning is underway to uncover the entire network, supply chain, and buyers.

The police team had received prior information that narcotics had been brought to the hotel. Following this, a team was dispatched under the direction of the Shridungargarh Station House Officer. Upon reaching the spot, the police searched the hotel and inspected suspicious areas. During the search, opium poppy pods packed in packets were found and seized on the spot.

After the recovery of the illegal narcotics, the police immediately took the hotel owner into custody and began questioning him at the police station. Preliminary questioning revealed that the accused had been involved in this business for a long time and the hotel was being used as a hidden warehouse. The police are now also investigating who else is involved with the accused.

Police officials say that the campaign against drugs has been intensified in Bikaner and surrounding areas. Action is being taken at different locations based on continuous surveillance, intelligence networks, and reconnaissance.
