बीकानेर प्रेस क्लब का शपथ ग्रहण समारोह संपन्न, केंद्रीय मंत्री अर्जुनराम मेघवाल और संत विमर्शानंदजी रहे मुख्य अतिथि

बीकानेर प्रेस क्लब की नवनिर्वाचित कार्यकारिणी का शपथ ग्रहण समारोह बीकानेर उद्योग संघ सभागार में संत विमर्शानंदजी महाराज के सान्निध्य में संपन्न हुआ। कार्यक्रम के मुख्य अतिथि केंद्रीय कानून मंत्री अर्जुनराम मेघवाल ने नई कार्यकारिणी को शुभकामनाएं देते हुए कहा कि पत्रकारिता समाज का आईना है, और निष्पक्षता उसकी सबसे बड़ी पहचान।

अर्जुनराम मेघवाल ने कहा कि सूचना तकनीक के युग में पत्रकारों के लिए डिजिटल माध्यम को अपनाना अनिवार्य है। उन्होंने कहा, “विज्ञान और तकनीक का विकास रुक नहीं सकता, इसे खुले मन से अपनाना ही होगा, अन्यथा हम पिछड़ जाएंगे।”
उन्होंने बीकानेर के पत्रकारों द्वारा दिए जाने वाले सुझावों को प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी तक पहुंचाने का भरोसा दिलाया। साथ ही, उन्होंने बीकानेर प्रेस क्लब को वंदे भारत ट्रेन से दिल्ली यात्रा और नए संसद भवन के अवलोकन का अवसर देने की घोषणा की।

कार्यक्रम में संत विमर्शानंदजी महाराज ने कहा कि पत्रकार समाज को “असत से सत की ओर” ले जाने वाला दीपक है। उन्होंने कहा, “पत्रकार संन्यासी की तरह निसंग होकर कार्य करें तो समाज का कल्याण निश्चित है।” उन्होंने पत्रकारों से आग्रह किया कि वे अपने आचरण को राम और अर्जुन की कसौटी पर परखें और निष्पक्ष पत्रकारिता करें।

समारोह की अध्यक्षता करते हुए मुदित खजांची ने कहा कि “कलम भारत के संविधान की रक्षा करती है, और जब प्रेस जिम्मेदारी से कार्य करता है तभी लोकतंत्र मजबूत होता है।”
महासचिव विशाल स्वामी ने स्वागत भाषण में सभी अतिथियों का अभिनंदन किया और कहा कि प्रेस क्लब बीकानेर को पत्रकार हित में एकजुट होकर नई मिसाल कायम करनी चाहिए।

अध्यक्ष कुशाल सिंह मेड़तिया ने कहा कि खबरें व्यक्तिगत नहीं होतीं; वे समाज के हित में होती हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि पत्रकारों को सच के साथ रहना चाहिए, भले ही वह किसी के पक्ष में या विपक्ष में क्यों न जाए।

कार्यक्रम का संचालन वरिष्ठ पत्रकार रवि विश्नोई ने किया। समारोह में बीकानेर जिले व तहसीलों के अनेक पत्रकार, जनप्रतिनिधि और समाजसेवी उपस्थित रहे।
विशिष्ट अतिथियों में हरिशेकर आचार्य, श्याम पंचारिया, सुमन छाजेड़, विनोद गिरी गुसाई, विमल भाटी, विक्रम स्वामी, चंद्रशेखर माली सहित अनेक प्रबुद्धजन शामिल हुए।

The swearing-in ceremony of the newly elected executive committee of the Bikaner Press Club was held in the presence of Saint Vimarshanandji Maharaj at the Bikaner Udyog Sangh auditorium. Union Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal, the chief guest, congratulated the new executive committee, saying that journalism is a mirror of society, and impartiality is its greatest hallmark.

Arjun Ram Meghwal said that in the age of information technology, it is essential for journalists to adopt digital media. He said, "The development of science and technology cannot be stopped; we must embrace it with an open mind, otherwise we will lag behind."
He promised to convey the suggestions given by Bikaner journalists to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He also announced that the Bikaner Press Club would be given the opportunity to travel to Delhi by the Vande Bharat train and visit the new Parliament building.

At the event, Saint Vimarshanandji Maharaj said that journalists are the lamps that lead society "from falsehood to truth." He added, "If journalists work with detachment like a monk, society's welfare is assured." He urged journalists to evaluate their conduct against the standards of Ram and Arjun and practice unbiased journalism.

Presiding over the event, Mudit Khajanchi said, "The pen protects the Constitution of India, and democracy is strengthened only when the press acts responsibly."

General Secretary Vishal Swami welcomed all the guests in his welcome address and said that the Press Club Bikaner should set a new example by uniting in the interest of journalists.

President Kushal Singh Medatia said that news is not personal; it is in the interest of society. He said that journalists should stick to the truth, whether it is in favor or against someone.

Senior journalist Ravi Vishnoi moderated the event. Numerous journalists, public representatives, and social workers from Bikaner district and tehsils were present at the event.
