गुरुवार सुबह से ही दिल्ली, हैदराबाद, अहमदाबाद, इंदौर और बेंगलुरु एयरपोर्ट पर लंबी कतारें, देरी और काउंटरों के बाहर भारी भीड़ दिखाई दी। कई यात्रियों ने सोशल मीडिया पर एयरलाइन की व्यवस्थाओं को लेकर नाराजगी जताई और शिकायत की कि घंटों इंतजार के बाद अचानक उड़ानें रद्द होने की जानकारी दी गई।

इंडिगो ने अपने आधिकारिक बयान में कहा कि

इन सभी कारणों की वजह से संचालन प्रभावित हुआ है। एयरलाइन का दावा है कि 48 घंटे के भीतर स्थिति सामान्य हो जाएगी।

लेकिन फेडरेशन ऑफ इंडियन पायलट्स (FIP) ने इंडिगो के इन दावों को खारिज करते हुए कहा कि

➡️ बढ़ते नेटवर्क के बावजूद स्टाफ नहीं बढ़ाया
➡️ पायलटों पर अत्यधिक काम का दबाव था

DGCA ने हाल ही में पायलट सुरक्षा को ध्यान में रखते हुए नए मानक जारी किए, जिनमें—
✔ सप्ताह में न्यूनतम 48 घंटे विश्राम
✔ अनिवार्य हेल्थ मॉनिटरिंग
✔ थकान मैनेजमेंट रिपोर्ट हर 3 महीने में जमा करना

जैसे प्रावधान शामिल हैं।
स्टाफ की कमी से जूझ रही इंडिगो के लिए यह नियम भारी पड़े और शेड्यूल पर असर हुआ।

रद्द उड़ानों के कारण मांग बढ़ने से किराए तेजी से बढ़ गए हैं।
