महाराष्ट्र के अकोला में बढ़ती गर्मी और मौसम विभाग के अगले 3 दिन लू चलने की चेतावनी के बाद जिले में धारा 144 लगाई गई है। अकोला जिला पिछले दो दिन में महाराष्ट्र का सबसे गर्म शहर बना हुआ है, जहां अधिकतम तापमान 45 डिग्री सेल्सियस से अधिक दर्ज किया गया। भारतीय मौसम विभाग (IMD) ने अकोला में लू की चेतावनी जारी की है। लू की संभावना को देखते हुए जिलाधिकारी अजीत कुंभार ने 31 मई तक CRPC की धारा 144 शनिवार (25 मई) से लागू कर दी है।
अकोला के डीएम ने प्रतिष्ठानों को श्रमिकों के लिए पीने के पानी और पंखों की पर्याप्त व्यवस्था करने का आदेश दिया। उन्होंने निजी कोचिंग क्लास के समय में बदलाव करने और उन्हें दोपहर के दौरान आयोजित नहीं किए जाने का भी निर्देश दिया। वहीं भारतीय मौसम विभाग के आंकड़ों के मुताबिक महाराष्ट्र के विदर्भ क्षेत्र में स्थित अकोला में शुक्रवार (24 मई) को अधिकतम तापमान 45.8 डिग्री सेल्सियस और शनिवार (25 मई) को 45.6 डिग्री सेल्सियस दर्ज किया गया। पिछले कुछ दिनों में अकोला में अधिकतम तापमान 44 डिग्री सेल्सियस से 45.8 डिग्री सेल्सियस के बीच रहा है।

In Akola, Maharashtra, Section 144 has been imposed in the district after the increasing heat and the weather department warning of heat wave for the next 3 days. Akola district has remained the hottest city in Maharashtra in the last two days, where the maximum temperature was recorded above 45 degrees Celsius. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a heat wave warning in Akola. In view of the possibility of heat wave, District Magistrate Ajit Kumbhar has implemented Section 144 of CRPC from Saturday (May 25) till May 31.
Akola DM ordered establishments to make adequate arrangements of drinking water and fans for the workers. He also directed to change the timing of private coaching classes and not hold them during the afternoon. According to Indian Meteorological Department data, the maximum temperature in Akola, located in Vidarbha region of Maharashtra, was recorded at 45.8 degrees Celsius on Friday (May 24) and 45.6 degrees Celsius on Saturday (May 25). In the last few days, the maximum temperature in Akola has ranged between 44 degrees Celsius to 45.8 degrees Celsius.
