देश की राजधानी दिल्ली सोमवार शाम 7 बजे हुए भीषण धमाके से दहल उठी, जिसमें 13 लोगों की जान चली गई। इस भयावह घटना के बाद सुरक्षा एजेंसियों ने तेजी से कार्रवाई शुरू की और शुरुआती जांच में सामने आया कि इस हमले के पीछे जम्मू-कश्मीर का रहने वाला डॉक्टर उमर मोहम्मद ही मास्टरमाइंड था। हैरानी की बात यह है कि धमाके में उमर खुद भी मारा गया, जिससे साफ हो गया कि वह ऑपरेशन को अंतिम चरण तक खुद ही अंजाम दे रहा था।

धमाके के बाद देशभर में बड़े पैमाने पर छापेमारी की गई। जांच में खुलासा हुआ कि उमर और उसका आतंकी मॉड्यूल पिछले दो वर्षों से इस हमले की साजिश रच रहा था। पुलिस ने पहले ही उसके कई सहयोगियों को गिरफ्तार कर लिया था, जिनके पास से लगभग 2900 किलो विस्फोटक सामग्री मिली थी। यह मात्रा किसी बड़े आतंकी ऑपरेशन की तैयारी की ओर इशारा करती है।

सुरक्षा एजेंसियों ने जांच तेज करते हुए उमर के परिवार से पूछताछ की। उसकी मां ने स्वीकार किया कि उन्हें पता था कि उमर कट्टरपंथ की ओर बढ़ रहा है और लंबे समय तक घरवालों से संपर्क नहीं रखता था। धमाके से ठीक पहले भी उसने परिवार को किसी तरह का संपर्क न करने की हिदायत दी थी। हालांकि, परिवार ने उसकी गतिविधियों की जानकारी पहले कभी पुलिस को नहीं दी।

जांच में यह भी सामने आया कि पुलवामा निवासी उमर पेशे से डॉक्टर था, लेकिन कट्टरपंथी संगठनों से जुड़े लोगों के संपर्क में आने के बाद उसकी सोच बदल गई। धीरे-धीरे उसने जैश-ए-मोहम्मद के एक सक्रिय मॉड्यूल के साथ जुड़कर आतंकी गतिविधियों में शामिल होना शुरू कर दिया। पुलिस के अनुसार, धमाके में उसकी मौत यह साबित करती है कि वह इस हमले का मुख्य ऑपरेटर था।

सुरक्षा एजेंसियों ने उमर के घर को भी ढहा दिया है, क्योंकि उन्हें आशंका है कि उसके निवास का उपयोग आतंकी गतिविधियों के ठिकाने या विस्फोटक सामग्री रखने के लिए किया गया था। वहीं, जांच एजेंसियां GPS डेटा, कॉल रिकॉर्ड और उमर के डिजिटल फुटप्रिंट्स का विश्लेषण कर रही हैं ताकि पूरा नेटवर्क उजागर किया जा सके।

फिलहाल, एजेंसियों का फोकस इस बात पर है कि उमर का मॉड्यूल देश के किन-किन हिस्सों में फैला था और आगे किस-किस स्थान पर वे हमले की योजना बना रहे थे। पूछताछ में मिले इनपुट्स के आधार पर कई शहरों में तलाशी अभियान जारी है।

जांच लगातार विस्तार ले रही है और अनुमान है कि आने वाले दिनों में इस मॉड्यूल से जुड़ी और बड़ी जानकारी सामने आ सकती है, जो पूरे आतंकी नेटवर्क को बेनकाब करेगी।

Currently, agencies are focused on identifying the locations of Umar's module across the country and the locations they were planning to attack. Based on information gathered during interrogations, searches are underway in several cities.
