प्रत्यक्षदर्शी शिवनाथ ने बताया कि हादसे के समय ट्रक सड़क किनारे सुरक्षित रूप से खड़ा था। रोझा चौराहे की तरफ से आ रहा ट्रेलर अचानक सड़क पर आए पशु को देखकर घबरा गया और उसे बचाने के प्रयास में सीधा ट्रक के अगले हिस्से में घुस गया। हादसे के बाद दोनों वाहन बुरी तरह से क्षतिग्रस्त हो गए।

हादसे में सड़क पर मौजूद एक सांड गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गया। प्रत्यक्षदर्शियों और स्थानीय लोगों की मदद से घायल सांड को तुरंत पास की गौशाला में इलाज के लिए भिजवाया गया। बताया जा रहा है कि सांड की स्थिति गंभीर थी और उसका उपचार जारी है।
