बीकानेर। सदर पुलिस थाना क्षेत्र में बुधवार दोपहर एक दर्दनाक सड़क हादसा सामने आया, जिसमें एक व्यक्ति की मौत हो गई और उसकी पत्नी गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गई। घटना पुलिस लाइन के सामने दोपहर लगभग 2 बजे हुई। हादसे के बाद पूरे क्षेत्र में अफरा-तफरी मच गई।

अमर सिंहपुरा निवासी रविन्द्र कुमार ने पुलिस को दी रिपोर्ट में बताया कि उसके पिता लीलाकृष्ण और मां पैदल ही सड़क पार कर रहे थे। इसी दौरान अचानक एक अज्ञात ट्रैक्टर-ट्रॉली चालक ने तेज और लापरवाही से वाहन चलाते हुए उन्हें टक्कर मार दी। टक्कर इतनी जोरदार थी कि लीलाकृष्ण सड़क पर गिर पड़े और गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गए। उनकी पत्नी भी बुरी तरह चोटिल हुई।

हादसे के तुरंत बाद आसपास मौजूद लोगों ने घायलों को उठाकर स्थानीय लोगों की मदद से पीबीएम अस्पताल पहुंचाया, जहां चिकित्सकों ने लीलाकृष्ण को गंभीर हालत में भर्ती कर उपचार शुरू किया। लेकिन कुछ देर बाद ही डॉक्टरों ने उन्हें मृत घोषित कर दिया। दूसरी ओर हादसे में घायल महिला का अस्पताल में उपचार जारी है।

पुलिस ने मामले की गंभीरता को देखते हुए तुरंत घटनास्थल का निरीक्षण किया और मृतक के बेटे की रिपोर्ट पर अज्ञात ट्रैक्टर-ट्रॉली चालक के खिलाफ मुकदमा दर्ज कर लिया है। मामले की जांच एएसआई दीपा शर्मा को सौंपी गई है। पुलिस अब घटनास्थल के आसपास लगे सीसीटीवी कैमरों की फुटेज खंगाल रही है ताकि आरोपी चालक की पहचान की जा सके।

स्थानीय लोगों का कहना है कि पुलिस लाइन के सामने यह क्षेत्र हमेशा भीड़भाड़ वाला रहता है और तेज रफ्तार वाहनों के कारण अक्सर दुर्घटनाएं होती रहती हैं। उन्होंने प्रशासन से मांग की है कि इस स्थान पर स्पीड ब्रेकर लगाए जाएं और यातायात नियंत्रण के उपाय किए जाएं।

रिपोर्ट दर्ज कराने वाले रविन्द्र कुमार का कहना है कि उसके पिता घर के मुखिया थे और परिवार की जिम्मेदारी उन्हीं पर थी। अचानक इस हादसे ने पूरे परिवार को सदमे में डाल दिया है। परिजनों ने पुलिस से आरोपी चालक को शीघ्र गिरफ्तार कर कठोर कार्रवाई करने की मांग की है।

सदर थाना पुलिस का कहना है कि प्रयास जारी हैं और जल्द ही आरोपी चालक की पहचान कर उसे गिरफ्तार किया जाएगा। फिलहाल पुलिस ने अज्ञात वाहन चालक के खिलाफ आईपीसी की संबंधित धाराओं में मामला दर्ज कर कानूनी कार्रवाई शुरू कर दी है।

यह घटना एक बार फिर साबित करती है कि लापरवाह ड्राइविंग किस तरह मासूम लोगों की जान ले सकती है। प्रशासन और पुलिस दोनों से उम्मीद है कि इस क्षेत्र में यातायात व्यवस्था को सख्त बनाया जाए ताकि भविष्य में इस तरह की दुर्घटनाओं पर रोक लग सके।

Amar Singhpura resident Ravindra Kumar reported to the police that his father, Leelakrishna, and mother were crossing the road on foot when an unknown tractor-trolley driver, driving rashly and recklessly, suddenly hit them. The impact was so severe that Leelakrishna fell to the ground and was seriously injured. His wife was also seriously injured.

Immediately after the accident, bystanders, with the help of locals, took the injured to PBM Hospital, where doctors admitted Leelakrishna in critical condition and began treatment. However, he was declared dead shortly thereafter. The woman, who was injured in the accident, is currently undergoing treatment at the hospital.

Considering the seriousness of the situation, the police immediately inspected the scene and, based on the report of the deceased's son, registered a case against the unknown tractor-trolley driver. The investigation has been assigned to ASI Deepa Sharma. Police are now examining CCTV footage from the area around the scene to identify the accused driver.

Local residents say that the area in front of the police line is always crowded and accidents are frequent due to speeding vehicles. They have demanded that the administration install speed breakers and implement traffic control measures.

Ravindra Kumar, who filed the complaint, says that his father was the head of the family and was responsible for the family. This sudden accident has left the entire family in shock. The family has demanded that the police arrest the accused driver promptly and take strict action.

The Sadar police station says that efforts are underway and the accused driver will soon be identified and arrested. Currently, the police have initiated legal proceedings by registering a case against the unknown driver under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code.

This incident once again proves how reckless driving can take the lives of innocent people. Both the administration and police are expected to tighten traffic rules in this area to prevent similar accidents in the future.
