नापासर कस्बे में शुक्रवार रात एक बड़ा हादसा होते–होते बच गया, जब चावलों की पराली से भरे एक ओवरलोड ट्रेलर ने अचानक आग पकड़ ली। घटना गीता देवी बागड़ी बालिका विद्यालय के पास की है, जहां ट्रेलर मुख्य बाजार मार्ग से गुजर रहा था। बताया जा रहा है कि ट्रेलर पर पराली की ऊंचाई सामान्य सीमा से अधिक थी, जिसके चलते वह ऊपर से गुजर रही बिजली की लाइनों के संपर्क में आ गया। बिजली के तारों से स्पार्किंग होते ही पराली ने कुछ ही सेकंड में आग पकड़ ली और लपटें हवा में तेजी से फैलने लगीं।

आग लगते ही पूरे क्षेत्र में अफरा–तफरी मच गई। आसपास के लोगों ने तुरंत मौके पर पहुंचकर आग बुझाने का प्रयास शुरू किया। ग्रामीणों का त्वरित सहयोग इस घटना में सबसे महत्वपूर्ण साबित हुआ। उन्होंने मिट्टी, पानी और आसपास उपलब्ध साधनों की मदद से आग को फैलने से रोकने की कोशिश की। इस बीच किसी ने पुलिस को सूचना दी और कुछ ही मिनटों में नापासर थाना पुलिस मौके पर पहुंच गई।

घटना की सूचना मिलते ही एएसआई कविन्द्र कुमार तुरंत टीम के साथ पहुंचे और क्षेत्र को खाली करवाते हुए आग पर काबू पाने की दिशा में महत्वपूर्ण समन्वय किया। अधिकारियों का कहना है कि यदि ट्रेलर कुछ और आगे बढ़ जाता, तो यह आग दुकानों और घरों तक फैल सकती थी, जिससे भारी जन-धन हानि हो सकती थी।

थानाधिकारी सुषमा शेखावत ने बताया कि आग की तीव्रता देखते हुए तत्काल दमकल विभाग को सूचित किया गया। तीन दमकल गाड़ियाँ मौके पर पहुंचीं और करीब एक घंटे की मशक्कत के बाद आग को पूरी तरह नियंत्रित कर लिया गया। गनीमत रही कि इस हादसे में कोई जनहानि नहीं हुई और समय रहते आग पर काबू पा लिया गया।

ग्रामीणों और पुलिस दोनों ही पक्षों ने बताया कि पराली ले जाने वाले ट्रेलर में अक्सर ओवरलोडिंग की जाती है। इससे न केवल सड़क सुरक्षा खतरे में पड़ती है, बल्कि बिजली लाइनों से संपर्क होने की संभावना भी बढ़ जाती है। यह घटना इसी लापरवाही का एक उदाहरण है। ग्रामीणों ने मांग की है कि प्रशासन ऐसे ओवरलोड वाहनों पर सख्त कार्रवाई करे और बिजली लाइनों के समीप बड़े वाहनों की आवाजाही पर नियंत्रण लगाए।

पुलिस अब मामले की जांच कर रही है और ट्रेलर चालक एवं मालिक से पूछताछ की जाएगी। यह भी जांच का विषय है कि ट्रेलर किस फैक्ट्री या गोदाम से पराली लेकर निकला था और क्या उसके पास वैध परमिट था या नहीं।

A major tragedy was averted in Napasar town on Friday night when an overloaded trailer carrying rice straw suddenly caught fire. The incident occurred near the Geeta Devi Bagdi Girls' School, where the trailer was passing through the main market road. It is reported that the straw on the trailer was above the normal height, causing it to come into contact with overhead power lines. Sparks from the power lines caused the straw to catch fire within seconds, and flames began spreading rapidly in the air.

As soon as the fire broke out, panic gripped the entire area. Nearby residents immediately rushed to the scene and began efforts to extinguish the fire. The villagers' prompt assistance proved crucial. They tried to contain the fire using soil, water, and other available resources. Meanwhile, someone alerted the police, and the Napasar police arrived at the scene within minutes.

Upon receiving information about the incident, ASI Kavinder Kumar immediately arrived with his team, evacuating the area, and coordinating the efforts to control the fire. Officials say that if the trailer had moved any further, the fire could have spread to shops and homes, causing significant loss of life and property.

Police Station Officer Sushma Shekhawat stated that due to the intensity of the fire, the fire department was immediately informed. Three fire engines arrived at the scene, and after about an hour of effort, the fire was completely brought under control. Fortunately, there were no casualties and the fire was brought under control in time.

Both villagers and police stated that trailers carrying stubble are often overloaded. This not only jeopardizes road safety but also increases the risk of contact with power lines. This incident is an example of this negligence. Villagers have demanded that the administration take strict action against such overloaded vehicles and regulate the movement of large vehicles near power lines.

Police are now investigating the matter and will question the trailer driver and owner. It is also a matter of investigation from which factory or warehouse the trailer had taken the straw and whether it had a valid permit or not.
