पढ़ाई के नाम पर फ्रॉड ! कनाडा जाने के बाद छात्र को मिला दो कमरों का कॉलेज, कंसलटेंसी एजेंसी के खिलाफ लाखों की धोखाधड़ी के आरोप

श्रीगंगानगर. जिले में शुक्रवार को छात्रों ने कंसलटेंसी एजेंसी के खिलाफ मोर्चा खोल दिया और जोरदार नारेबाजी की. उनका आरोप है कि श्रीगंगानगर निवासी एक छात्र को कनाडा भेजने के बाद पता चला कि जिस कॉलेज में उसका दाखिला किया गया है, वह महज दो कमरों का है. इसपर छात्रों ने फीस वापस करने की मांग रखी. आक्रोशित छात्रों ने रास्ते को भी जाम कर दिया.

यह है पूरा मामला : कनाडा गए छात्र सचिन लाहोटी के भाई सौरभ लाहोटी ने बताया कि उसके भाई को कनाडा भेजने के लिए श्रीगंगानगर के एक कंसलटेंसी एजेंसी के माध्यम से फाइल लगाई गई थी. मार्च में उसके भाई का वीजा लगवा कर उसे कनाडा भेज दिया गया. सौरभ लाहोटी ने बताया कि कंसलटेंसी के संचालको ने कनाडा में अच्छे कॉलेज में एडमिशन दिलवाने और एक साल बाद वर्क परमिट मिलने की बात कही थी. 

उन्होंने इसकी एवज में 16 लाख 70 हजार रुपए की फीस ली. मार्च में जब उसका भाई कनाडा पहुंचा तो उसे पता चला कि जिस कॉलेज में उसे दाखिला मिला वो महज दो कमरों का था. उसे वहां जाकर पता चला कि उस कॉलेज की फीस भी मात्र दो लाख के करीब है. कालेज में पढ़ाई के बाद उसे जल्द वर्क परमिट मिलने की उम्मीद भी नहीं है.

छात्र ने कंसलटेंसी एजेंसी को फोन किया, लेकिन उसे कोई जवाब नहीं मिला. सौरभ लाहोटी का आरोप है कि जब वे लोग सेंटर पर पहुंचे तो संचालकों ने पहले तो कोई संतोषजनक जवाब नहीं दिया और बाद में उसके भाई को कनाडा से डिपोर्ट करवाने की धमकी दी. इस बात से आक्रोशित होकर बड़ी संख्या में छात्र एकत्रित हो गए और उन्होंने कंसलटेंसी के सामने जोरदार नारेबाजी की और रास्ता जाम कर दिया. इस संबंध में कोतवाली थाना में परिवाद भी दिया गया है.

कंसलटेंसी की पार्टनर श्रुति सिडाना ने बताया कि छात्र के साथ कोई धोखाधड़ी नहीं की गई है. जब सचिन लाहोटी श्रीगंगानगर से कनाडा गया तो बाकायदा उसे सारी जानकारी के पेपर देकर रवाना किया गया था और जाते समय सेंटर पर सेलिब्रेशन भी किया गया था. वहां जाने के बाद वह अब हमसे हमारी बचत के रुपए मांगने के लिए इस तरह के काम कर रहा है. छात्र के परिजनों से उसकी कभी बात नहीं हुई, लेकिन कनाडा जाने के तीन महीनों के बाद अब कुछ दिनों से छात्र सचिन के व्हाट्सप्प पर रुपए वापस लेने के लिए ऑडियो मैसेज आ रहे हैं.

This is the whole matter: Saurabh Lahoti, brother of Sachin Lahoti, a student who went to Canada, said that a file was filed through a consultancy agency in Sri Ganganagar to send his brother to Canada. In March, his brother's visa was arranged and he was sent to Canada. Saurabh Lahoti said that the operators of the consultancy had promised to get him admission in a good college in Canada and a work permit after a year.

In return, they took a fee of Rs 16 lakh 70 thousand. When his brother reached Canada in March, he came to know that the college in which he got admission had only two rooms. After going there, he came to know that the fees of that college were also only around two lakhs. After studying in the college, he is not expected to get a work permit soon.

The student called the consultancy agency, but he did not get any reply. Saurabh Lahoti alleges that when they reached the center, the operators did not give any satisfactory answer at first and later threatened to get his brother deported from Canada. Angered by this, a large number of students gathered and shouted slogans in front of the consultancy and blocked the road. A complaint has also been filed in Kotwali police station in this regard.

Consultancy partner Shruti Sidana said that no fraud has been done with the student. When Sachin Lahoti went to Canada from Sri Ganganagar, he was sent off after giving him papers with all the information and a celebration was also held at the center while leaving. After going there, he is now doing such things to ask us for our savings. He never spoke to the student's family, but after three months of going to Canada, for the past few days, audio messages are coming on student Sachin's WhatsApp to get the money back.
