बीकानेर। शहर के सदर थाना क्षेत्र में सोमवार को एक महिला द्वारा आत्महत्या करने की दर्दनाक घटना सामने आई है। घटना भुट्टों का बास क्षेत्र की है, जहां 32 वर्षीय रहमत पत्नी मोहम्मद राशिद ने अपने घर के कमरे में फांसी लगाकर जीवन लीला समाप्त कर ली।

सूचना मिलने पर सदर थाना पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची और जांच शुरू की। पुलिस के अनुसार, रहमत ने कमरे के पंखे से फंदा लगाकर आत्महत्या की। घटना के समय घर के अन्य सदस्य पास ही मौजूद थे, जिन्होंने जब दरवाजा तोड़ा तो महिला को फंदे से लटका पाया।

घटना की जानकारी मिलते ही स्थानीय सामाजिक संस्थाएँ — खिदमतगार खादिम सोसायटी और असहाय सेवा संस्थान के कार्यकर्ता भी मौके पर पहुंचे और उन्होंने पुलिस की सहायता से शव को पीबीएम अस्पताल की मोर्चरी में रखवाया।

पुलिस ने बताया कि आत्महत्या के कारणों का अभी तक पता नहीं चल पाया है। फिलहाल मामले की गहन जांच की जा रही है। मृतका के परिवारजनों से पूछताछ की जा रही है ताकि घटना के पीछे के कारणों का खुलासा किया जा सके।

घटना की खबर फैलते ही क्षेत्र में शोक की लहर दौड़ गई। पड़ोसियों ने बताया कि रहमत स्वभाव से शांत और परिवार के प्रति समर्पित महिला थीं। अचानक इस तरह के कदम से सभी स्तब्ध हैं।

पुलिस अधिकारियों ने बताया कि “मृतका के मोबाइल फोन और कमरे से मिले सामान की भी जांच की जा रही है। पोस्टमार्टम रिपोर्ट आने के बाद ही आत्महत्या के कारण स्पष्ट हो सकेंगे।”

बीकानेर की सामाजिक संस्थाओं ने इस घटना पर दुख व्यक्त करते हुए कहा कि परिवारिक या मानसिक तनाव के समय लोगों को एक-दूसरे का सहयोग करना चाहिए ताकि इस तरह की घटनाओं को रोका जा सके।

फिलहाल पुलिस ने मामला दर्ज कर जांच शुरू कर दी है। पोस्टमार्टम रिपोर्ट आने के बाद आगे की कार्रवाई की जाएगी।

Upon receiving the information, the Sadar police station team reached the spot and started the investigation. According to the police, Rehmat committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling fan in her room. Other family members were present nearby at the time of the incident. When they broke down the door, they found the woman hanging.

Upon learning of the incident, members of local social organizations – Khidmatgar Khadim Society and Asahay Seva Sansthan – also reached the spot and, with the help of the police, arranged for the body to be kept in the mortuary of PBM Hospital.

Police said that the reasons for the suicide are yet to be ascertained. A thorough investigation is currently underway. The deceased's family members are being questioned to uncover the reasons behind the incident.

The news of the incident spread quickly in the area, causing a wave of grief. Neighbors said that Rehmat was a quiet and devoted woman. Everyone is shocked by this sudden act.

Police officials said, "The deceased's mobile phone and items found in the room are also being examined. The reasons for the suicide will become clear only after the post-mortem report is received."

Social organizations in Bikaner expressed their sorrow over the incident and said that people should support each other during times of family or mental stress to prevent such incidents.

The police have registered a case and started the investigation. Further action will be taken after the post-mortem report is received.
