उपमुख्यमंत्री दिया कुमारी ने प्रदेश के 62 हजार आंगनबाड़ी केन्द्रों पर आने वाले लगभग 36 लाख बच्चों को सप्ताह में 3 दिन दूध उपलब्ध करवाने के लिए प्रक्रिया को शीघ्र पूरा करने के अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिए हैं।
उपमुख्यमंत्री दिया कुमारी ने बुधवार को शासन सचिवालय में महिला एवं बाल विकास शासन सचिव महेन्द्र सोनी, निदेशक समेकित बाल विकास सेवाएं (आईसीडीएस) ओपी बुनकर की उपस्थिति में आयोजित बैठक में उक्त निर्देश दिए।
आपको बता दें कि वित्तीय वर्ष 2024-25 के परिवर्तित बजट के बिन्दु संख्या 88 में आंगनबाड़ी केन्द्रों पर बच्चों को उचित पौष्टिक आहार के रूप में सप्ताह में तीन दिन दूध उपलब्ध करवाये जाना है। इसके लिए क्रय किये जाने वाले मिल्क पॉवडर पर 200 करोड रूपये वार्षिक व्यय किये जायेंगे। बैठक में अतिरिक्त निदेशक मेघराज सिंह मीना, उपनिदेशक आईसीडीएस डॉ. मंजु यादव तथा अन्य विभागीय अधिकारी उपस्थित रहे।

Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari has directed the officials to complete the process soon to provide milk 3 days a week to about 36 lakh children coming to 62 thousand Anganwadi centers in the state.
Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari gave the above instructions in a meeting held on Wednesday in the presence of Women and Child Development Government Secretary Mahendra Soni, Director Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) OP Bunkar at the Government Secretariat.
Let us tell you that in point number 88 of the revised budget of the financial year 2024-25, milk is to be made available to children at Anganwadi centers three days a week as proper nutritious food. For this, an annual expenditure of Rs 200 crore will be incurred on the milk powder to be purchased. Additional Director Meghraj Singh Meena, Deputy Director ICDS Dr. Manju Yadav and other departmental officers were present in the meeting.
