नई दिल्ली। संसद से चुनाव आयोग (EC) के दफ्तर तक मार्च निकाल रहे विपक्षी सांसदों को दिल्ली पुलिस ने बुधवार को हिरासत में ले लिया। इस दौरान कांग्रेस नेता राहुल गांधी, समाजवादी पार्टी प्रमुख अखिलेश यादव, प्रियंका गांधी सहित कई वरिष्ठ नेता मौजूद थे। विपक्ष का कहना है कि उनका संघर्ष "प्योर वोटर लिस्ट" और "संविधान बचाने" के लिए है, जबकि पुलिस का तर्क है कि तय संख्या से अधिक नेता मार्च में शामिल हुए और व्यवस्था बिगड़ने का खतरा था।

मार्च से पहले ही रोके गए नेता, पुलिस बसों में ले गई

दिल्ली पुलिस के अनुसार, चुनाव आयोग ने 30 विपक्षी नेताओं को चर्चा के लिए बुलाया था, लेकिन बड़ी संख्या में सांसद और कार्यकर्ता वहां पहुंच गए। इसके चलते सुरक्षा और यातायात में अव्यवस्था की आशंका जताते हुए पुलिस ने मार्च रोक दिया। नेताओं को बसों में बैठाकर संसद मार्ग थाने और सेंट्रल दिल्ली के बाहर ले जाया गया।

अखिलेश का अंदाज और राहुल का संदेश

मार्च के दौरान एक नजारा तब चर्चा में आया जब पुलिस के रोकने पर अखिलेश यादव बैरिकेडिंग फांदकर आगे बढ़ गए। वहीं, राहुल गांधी ने पुलिस की बस से ही हुंकार भरते हुए कहा, “हमारी लड़ाई राजनीतिक नहीं है, बल्कि संविधान को बचाने की है। हमें प्योर वोटर लिस्ट चाहिए।”

विपक्ष का आरोप — लोकतंत्र की हत्या

कांग्रेस और सहयोगी दलों का कहना है कि वोटर लिस्ट की शुद्धता लोकतंत्र की बुनियादी जरूरत है, लेकिन सरकार इस मुद्दे पर पारदर्शिता नहीं दिखा रही। कई सांसदों ने नारे लगाए — “मोदी जब-जब डरता है, पुलिस को आगे करता है।”

सरकार और EC का पक्ष

सरकारी सूत्रों ने कहा कि विपक्षी नेताओं को जंतर-मंतर पर प्रदर्शन करने की अनुमति थी, लेकिन बिना अनुमति सेंट्रल दिल्ली में मार्च से यातायात और सुरक्षा व्यवस्था पर असर पड़ सकता था। चुनाव आयोग सूत्रों का कहना है कि विपक्षी नेता अब भी तय संख्या में आकर चर्चा कर सकते हैं।

Congress and allies say that purity of voter list is a basic need of democracy, but the government is not showing transparency on this issue. Many MPs raised slogans - "Modi, whenever he is afraid, takes the police forward."

Government and EC's stand
Government sources said that opposition leaders were allowed to protest at Jantar Mantar, but without permission, the march in Central Delhi could have affected traffic and security arrangements. Election Commission sources say that opposition leaders can still come in fixed numbers and discuss.
