राजस्थान की राजधानी जयपुर में चलती बस में ड्राइवर का बैलेंस खराब हुआ और वह बेहोश होकर स्टीयरिंग पर ही गिर गया । बस में उस समय 50 से ज्यादा सवारियां मौजूद थी और बस भीड़ भरे इलाके से होकर गुजर रही थी। सवारियां चीखने चिल्लाने लगी, लेकिन इसी दौरान एक सवारी ने हिम्मत दिखाई और बस का स्टेरिंग थाम लिया । जैसे तैसे बस को काबू किया और तेजी से ब्रेक लगाए । गनी मत रही बस में बैठी सवारी और बाहर मौजूद लोगों में से किसी को कोई चोट नहीं आई। बाद में ड्राइवर को अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया । घटना राजधानी जयपुर के कालवाड़ क्षेत्र की है।

स्थानीय लोगों ने बताया कि कालवाड़ से होती हुई एक निजी बस गुजर रही थी । यह स्टेट हाईवे था और यहां अक्सर भीड़ रहती है । इस हाइवे पर गाड़ी चलाते समय बस के चालक युसूफ खान को अचानक एक दौरा पड़ा और वह बेहोश हो गया। यह बस जयपुर से होती हुई जयपुर ग्रामीण क्षेत्र में स्थित दाता रामगढ़ कस्बे में जा रही थी।

बस में जयपुर ग्रामीण क्षेत्र के रेनवाल इलाके में रहने वाला धर्मेंद्र नाम का एक युवक भी सवार था। वह ड्राइवर के केबिन में बैठा हुआ था और ड्राइवर से बात भी कर रहा था। लेकिन जब बस ने स्पीड पकड़ी और बस एक बस्ती से होकर गुजरने लगी तो बस का ड्राइवर युसूफ खान बेहोश हो गया। धर्मेंद्र ने तुरंत स्टीयरिंग संभाला और तेजी से ब्रेक लगाए । इस दौरान कुछ सवारियां बेकाबू होकर बस के फर्श पर ही गिर पड़ी, लेकिन गनीमत रही किसी को गंभीर चोट नहीं आई । उसके बाद सवारी ने मिलकर बस ड्राइवर को अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया , समय रहते अस्पताल में भर्ती होने पर बस ड्राइवर की जान बच गई।
