नई दिल्ली, 31 अक्टूबर 2025। भारत और न्यूजीलैंड के बीच होने वाले मुक्त व्यापार समझौते (एफटीए) की वार्ता के चौथे दौर में भारत की ओर से एक महत्वपूर्ण घोषणा की गई है। भारत सरकार ने बताया है कि ईको भारत के संस्थापक एवं सीईओ सम्पत सारस्वत बामनवाली आगामी दौर में वाणिज्य एवं उद्योग मंत्री पीयूष गोयल के साथ भारतीय प्रतिनिधिमंडल का नेतृत्व करेंगे। यह वार्ता 3 से 9 नवंबर 2025 तक ऑकलैंड, न्यूजीलैंड में आयोजित की जाएगी।

वाणिज्य और उद्योग मंत्रालय के वाणिज्य विभाग की निदेशक तरुणा डोलिया द्वारा जारी एक आधिकारिक बयान में कहा गया है कि सम्पत सारस्वत बामनवाली के साथ प्रमुख उद्योग संस्थानों — एफआईसीसीआई (FICCI), सीआईआई (CII), एएसएसोचैम (ASSOCHAM) और इन्वेस्ट इंडिया (Invest India) के प्रतिनिधि भी इस प्रतिनिधिमंडल का हिस्सा होंगे।

वाणिज्य विभाग ने न्यूजीलैंड स्थित भारतीय उच्चायोग को निर्देश दिए हैं कि सभी प्रतिनिधियों के लिए आवश्यक व्यवस्थाएं सुनिश्चित की जाएं, ताकि भारत का यह व्यापारिक दल वैश्विक मंच पर देश का प्रभावी प्रतिनिधित्व कर सके।

एफटीए वार्ता का उद्देश्य:
भारत-न्यूजीलैंड एफटीए वार्ता का प्रमुख लक्ष्य दोनों देशों के बीच व्यापारिक संबंधों को मजबूत बनाना, निर्यात बढ़ाना और परस्पर आर्थिक सहयोग को नई दिशा देना है। यह समझौता कृषि, आईटी, विनिर्माण और सेवा क्षेत्र में निवेश और सहयोग के नए अवसर खोलेगा।

भारत की प्रतिबद्धता:
वाणिज्य मंत्री पीयूष गोयल ने कहा कि यह यात्रा भारत की वैश्विक व्यापार नीति के लिए एक महत्वपूर्ण पड़ाव है। इससे भारत के लघु, मध्यम और बड़े उद्योगों के लिए अंतरराष्ट्रीय बाजारों में नई संभावनाएं खुलेंगी।

सम्पत सारस्वत बामनवाली की भूमिका:
ईको भारत के संस्थापक सम्पत सारस्वत बामनवाली ने इस अवसर पर प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी और गृह मंत्री अमित शाह का धन्यवाद करते हुए कहा कि भारत की “वोकल फॉर लोकल” और “मेक इन इंडिया” नीति को वैश्विक स्तर पर पहचान दिलाने का यह एक सुनहरा अवसर है।

उन्होंने कहा कि न्यूजीलैंड के साथ यह वार्ता दोनों देशों के बीच न केवल व्यापारिक साझेदारी को मजबूत करेगी बल्कि सतत विकास और नवाचार आधारित व्यापारिक ढांचे को भी गति देगी।

New Delhi, October 31, 2025. A significant announcement has been made by India regarding the fourth round of negotiations for the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between India and New Zealand. The Indian government has stated that Sampat Saraswat Bamanwali, Founder and CEO of Eco India, will lead the Indian delegation alongside Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal in the upcoming round of talks. These negotiations will be held in Auckland, New Zealand, from November 3 to 9, 2025.
