लूणकरणसर तहसील से देर रात एक बड़ा हादसा सामने आया, जब धिरेरा गांव के पास राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग 62 पर कागज़ रोल से भरे ट्रक में अचानक आग लग गई। बताया जा रहा है कि ट्रक अनियंत्रित होकर सड़क किनारे पेड़ से टकरा गया, जिसके बाद वाहन में भीषण आग भड़क उठी। रात के समय हुए इस हादसे ने राहगीरों और स्थानीय लोगों को दहशत में डाल दिया।
जानकारी के अनुसार ट्रक मोरबी, गुजरात से कागज़ रोल लेकर लुधियाना, पंजाब जा रहा था। रास्ते में अचानक सड़क पर पशु आ गया, जिससे चालक ट्रक को संभाल नहीं पाया और वाहन अनियंत्रित होकर roadside पेड़ से जा टकराया। जैसे ही टक्कर हुई, कुछ ही मिनटों में ट्रक में आग फैल गई। पूरी बॉडी आग की लपटों में घिर गई और कागज़ लदा होने के कारण आग तेजी से भड़की।
हादसे के समय ट्रक के चालक बाबूराम ने सूझबूझ दिखाते हुए तुरंत वाहन से कूदकर अपनी जान बचा ली, जिससे बड़ा नुकसान टल गया। आग की तीव्रता इतनी तेज थी कि ट्रक को तुरंत छोड़कर दूर जाना पड़ा।
सूचना मिलते ही ASI सुरेश मीणा और चालक महावीर प्रसाद मौके पर पहुंचे और स्थिति का जायजा लिया। उन्होंने तुरंत फायर ब्रिगेड को सूचना दी। कुछ देर बाद दमकल दस्ता पहुंचा और कड़ी मशक्कत के बाद आग पर काबू पाया गया। आग बुझने के बाद भी लंबे समय तक धुआं उठता रहा।
ASI सुरेश मीणा ने बताया कि यदि चालक समय रहते ट्रक से नहीं उतरता, तो बड़ा हादसा हो सकता था। उन्होंने बताया कि ट्रक पूरी तरह पेपर रोल से भरा हुआ था और लोड की वजह से आग तेजी से फैल गई। फिलहाल मौके की सफाई व ट्रक हटाने की प्रक्रिया जारी है। राहत की बात यह रही कि घटना में किसी की जान नहीं गई।
स्थानीय लोगों का कहना है कि इस क्षेत्र में रात के समय पशु सड़क पर आने की घटनाएं आम हैं, जिससे दुर्घटना का खतरा बना रहता है। कई बार हादसे दर्ज हो चुके हैं। ग्रामीणों ने प्रशासन से अनुरोध किया है कि हाईवे पर पशु नियंत्रण और सुरक्षा व्यवस्था मजबूत की जाए, ताकि भविष्य में ऐसे हादसे रोके जा सकें।
ट्रक में लगी आग के वीडियो और तस्वीरें भी सुबह से सोशल मीडिया पर तेजी से वायरल हो रहे हैं। लोग ड्राइवर की सूझबूझ की सराहना कर रहे हैं कि उसने संकट के समय खुद को बचा लिया।
यह हादसा फिर याद दिलाता है कि हाईवे पर रात्रि ड्राइविंग के दौरान सतर्कता बेहद जरूरी है, खासकर जब पशु और खुले क्षेत्र दुर्घटना की बड़ी वजह बन जाते हैं।

A major accident occurred late at night in Lunkaransar tehsil when a truck loaded with paper rolls suddenly caught fire on National Highway 62 near Dhirera village. It is reported that the truck went out of control and collided with a tree on the roadside, after which a massive fire erupted in the vehicle. This nighttime accident caused panic among passersby and local residents.
According to reports, the truck was carrying paper rolls from Morbi, Gujarat to Ludhiana, Punjab. Suddenly, an animal appeared on the road, causing the driver to lose control of the truck, which then crashed into a tree on the roadside. Immediately after the collision, the truck caught fire within minutes. The entire vehicle was engulfed in flames, and due to the paper cargo, the fire spread rapidly.
At the time of the accident, the truck driver, Baburam, showed presence of mind and immediately jumped out of the vehicle, saving his life and preventing a greater tragedy. The intensity of the fire was so great that he had to quickly move away from the burning truck.
Upon receiving the information, ASI Suresh Meena and driver Mahavir Prasad reached the spot and assessed the situation. They immediately informed the fire brigade. After some time, the fire brigade arrived, and after considerable effort, the fire was brought under control. Even after the fire was extinguished, smoke continued to rise for a long time.
ASI Suresh Meena stated that a major accident could have occurred if the driver had not gotten out of the truck in time. He explained that the truck was completely filled with paper rolls, and the load caused the fire to spread rapidly. Currently, the process of clearing the site and removing the truck is underway. Fortunately, no lives were lost in the incident.
Local residents say that incidents of animals straying onto the road at night are common in this area, posing a constant risk of accidents. Several accidents have been reported in the past. Villagers have requested the administration to strengthen animal control and safety measures on the highway to prevent such accidents in the future.
