गंगासिंह विश्वविद्यालय में संस्कृत संकाय खोलने की मांग, सनातन धर्म साधना पीठ ने सौंपा ज्ञापन

बीकानेर स्थित महाराजा गंगासिंह विश्वविद्यालय में एक स्वतंत्र संस्कृत संकाय की स्थापना की मांग को लेकर सनातन धर्म साधना पीठ एवं भैरव साधक समिति के एक शिष्टमंडल ने कुलपति प्रो. मनोज दीक्षित को ज्ञापन सौंपा। इस दौरान संस्कृत शिक्षा के महत्व और वर्तमान शिक्षा प्रणाली में इसकी उपेक्षा पर चर्चा की गई।

ज्ञापन में बताया गया कि संस्कृत भाषा न केवल हमारी सांस्कृतिक और आध्यात्मिक विरासत की संवाहक है, बल्कि यह वैज्ञानिक, गणितीय, औषधीय और दार्शनिक ज्ञान की भी मूलधारा रही है। ऐसे में विश्वविद्यालय स्तर पर संस्कृत संकाय की स्थापना न केवल छात्रों को लाभ पहुंचाएगी, बल्कि विश्वविद्यालय की शैक्षणिक गरिमा को भी नए आयाम प्रदान करेगी।

ज्ञापन में यह भी उल्लेख किया गया कि राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा नीति 2020 में भारतीय भाषाओं को बढ़ावा देने पर विशेष बल दिया गया है। ऐसे में गंगासिंह विश्वविद्यालय जैसे प्रतिष्ठित संस्थान द्वारा संस्कृत संकाय की स्थापना समय की मांग और नीति के अनुरूप निर्णय होगा।

शिष्टमंडल में शामिल पंडित भाईश्री, शिक्षाविद् डॉ. मदन मोहन पुरोहित, पवन राठी, पार्षद नंदकिशोर गहलोत आदि ने कुलपति महोदय को बताया कि संस्कृत में वेद, उपनिषद, न्याय, योग, आयुर्वेद और साहित्य सहित विभिन्न शास्त्रों का समृद्ध भंडार निहित है। आज युवा पीढ़ी इस दिशा में अध्ययन और शोध के लिए उत्सुक है, परंतु उपयुक्त शैक्षणिक वातावरण का अभाव है।

कुलपति प्रो. मनोज दीक्षित ने ज्ञापन को सकारात्मक रूप में लेते हुए कहा कि विश्वविद्यालय प्रशासन इस विषय पर गंभीरता से विचार करेगा और शीघ्र ही संबंधित विभागों के साथ चर्चा कर निर्णय लिया जाएगा।

यह पहल बीकानेर क्षेत्र के संस्कृत प्रेमियों, विद्यार्थियों और शोधार्थियों के लिए एक नई शैक्षणिक क्रांति का मार्ग खोल सकती है।

A delegation of Sanatan Dharma Sadhana Peeth and Bhairav ​​Sadhak Samiti submitted a memorandum to Vice Chancellor Prof. Manoj Dixit demanding the establishment of an independent Sanskrit Faculty in Maharaja Gangasingh University, Bikaner. During this, the importance of Sanskrit education and its neglect in the current education system was discussed.

It was told in the memorandum that Sanskrit language is not only the carrier of our cultural and spiritual heritage, but it has also been the mainstream of scientific, mathematical, medicinal and philosophical knowledge. In such a situation, the establishment of Sanskrit Faculty at the university level will not only benefit the students, but will also provide new dimensions to the academic dignity of the university.

It was also mentioned in the memorandum that special emphasis has been laid on promoting Indian languages ​​in the National Education Policy 2020. In such a situation, the establishment of Sanskrit Faculty by a prestigious institution like Gangasingh University will be a decision in accordance with the demand of the time and policy.

Pandit Bhaishri, educationist Dr. Madan Mohan Purohit, Pawan Rathi, councilor Nandkishore Gehlot etc., who were part of the delegation, told the Vice Chancellor that Sanskrit contains a rich repository of various scriptures including Vedas, Upanishads, Nyaya, Yoga, Ayurveda and literature. Today the young generation is eager to study and research in this direction, but there is a lack of suitable educational environment.

Vice Chancellor Prof. Manoj Dixit took the memorandum in a positive manner and said that the university administration will seriously consider this subject and a decision will be taken soon after discussing with the concerned departments.

This initiative can open the way for a new educational revolution for Sanskrit lovers, students and researchers of Bikaner region.
