बीकानेर। जिले के नोखा रोड पर बुधवार को एक भीषण सड़क हादसा हो गया, जिसमें बाइक सवार दो युवकों की दर्दनाक मौत हो गई। हादसा नोखा रोड स्थित रॉयल एनफील्ड शोरूम के सामने हुआ, जहां रोडवेज बस और बाइक के बीच जबरदस्त भिड़ंत हो गई। हादसे के बाद घटनास्थल पर अफरा-तफरी मच गई और लोगों की भीड़ जमा हो गई।

प्रत्यक्षदर्शियों के अनुसार, बाइक पर सवार दोनों युवक तेज़ रफ्तार में नोखा की तरफ से आ रहे थे, तभी सामने से आ रही रोडवेज बस से उनकी जोरदार टक्कर हो गई। टक्कर इतनी भीषण थी कि बाइक कई फीट दूर जा गिरी और दोनों युवक सड़क पर छिटककर गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गए। स्थानीय लोगों ने तुरंत पुलिस और एंबुलेंस को सूचना दी।

हादसे में एक युवक की मौके पर ही मौत हो गई, जबकि गंभीर रूप से घायल दूसरे युवक को तुरंत अस्पताल ले जाया गया, जहां डॉक्टरों ने उपचार के दौरान उसे मृत घोषित कर दिया। दोनों युवकों की पहचान पुलिस द्वारा की जा रही है और परिजनों को सूचित कर दिया गया है।

स्थानीय लोगों ने बताया कि नोखा रोड पर वाहनों की तेज रफ्तार और सड़क किनारे बढ़ते ट्रैफिक दबाव के कारण यहां आए दिन दुर्घटनाएं हो रही हैं। रॉयल एनफील्ड शोरूम के पास का क्षेत्र विशेष रूप से जोखिमपूर्ण माना जाता है, क्योंकि यहां सड़क संकरी है और वाहन अक्सर तेज गति से गुजरते हैं। हादसा स्थल पर सड़क सुरक्षा के पर्याप्त इंतजाम न होने पर भी सवाल उठ रहे हैं।

सूचना मिलते ही पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची और मृतकों के शव कब्जे में लेकर पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भेज दिए। वहीं रोडवेज बस को जब्त कर जांच शुरू कर दी गई है। पुलिस का कहना है कि प्रारंभिक जांच में बस और बाइक दोनों की गति तेज होने की बात सामने आई है। बस चालक से पूछताछ जारी है और हादसे के सही कारणों का पता लगाया जा रहा है।

स्थानीय लोगों का आरोप है कि इस मार्ग पर स्पीड कंट्रोल के लिए न तो संकेतक लगे हैं और न ही कोई ट्रैफिक मॉनिटरिंग की व्यवस्था है। उन्होंने प्रशासन से यहां स्पीड ब्रेकर लगाने और नियमित पुलिस गश्त बढ़ाने की मांग की है, ताकि भविष्य में ऐसे हादसों को रोका जा सके।
