बीकानेर में बड़ी कार्रवाई: 48 ग्राम एमडी के साथ युवक गिरफ्तार, पुलिस कर रही गहन जांच
बीकानेर की नाल पुलिस और डीएसटी टीम ने संयुक्त कार्रवाई करते हुए करमीसर निवासी फिरोज जमालदीन को 48 ग्राम एमडी के साथ गिरफ्तार किया। आरोपी पर एनडीपीएस एक्ट में मुकदमा दर्ज कर जांच शुरू की गई है।

बीकानेर में नशे के खिलाफ चल रहे अभियान के तहत पुलिस को एक और बड़ी सफलता मिली है। नाल थाना पुलिस और जिला विशेष टीम (डीएसटी) ने संयुक्त कार्रवाई करते हुए एक आरोपी को लाखों रुपये की एमडी (मेथामफेटामाइन) के साथ गिरफ्तार किया है। पुलिस के अनुसार यह कार्रवाई मुखबिर से मिली पुख्ता सूचना पर की गई, जिसके बाद मौके पर पहुंचकर आरोपी को धरदबोचा गया।
नाल थानाधिकारी विकास बिश्नोई ने बताया कि पुलिस टीम को सूचना मिली थी कि करमीसर वार्ड नंबर 23 निवासी फिरोज पुत्र जमालदीन अपने कब्जे में मादक पदार्थ एमडी रखे हुए है और उसे आगे सप्लाई करने की तैयारी में है। सूचना मिलते ही नाल थाना पुलिस और डीएसटी टीम ने संयुक्त छापेमारी की। तलाशी के दौरान आरोपी फिरोज के कब्जे से 48 ग्राम एमडी बरामद हुई, जिसकी अवैध बाजार में कीमत लाखों रुपये बताई जा रही है।
पुलिस ने मौके पर ही आरोपी को गिरफ्तार कर लिया और उसके खिलाफ एनडीपीएस एक्ट में मुकदमा दर्ज कर जांच शुरू कर दी है। अधिकारी के अनुसार अब जांच इस दिशा में की जाएगी कि आरोपी यह नशा कहां से लाया था, किसे सप्लाई करने वाला था और उसके साथ इस अवैध नेटवर्क में और कौन-कौन लोग शामिल हैं। पुलिस यह भी पता लगाएगी कि आरोपी कब से इस अवैध कारोबार में सक्रिय था।
पकड़े गए आरोपी के खिलाफ पहले भी कोई आपराधिक रिकॉर्ड है या नहीं, इसकी भी जांच की जा रही है। नशे के बढ़ते खतरे को देखते हुए बीकानेर पुलिस लगातार सख्ती बरत रही है और विभिन्न टीमों को सक्रिय कर इलाके में नशा बेचने वालों पर कड़ा शिकंजा कस रही है।
इस कार्रवाई में नाल पुलिस थाना से सब इंस्पेक्टर अशोक कुमार मय टीम और डीएसटी से एएसआई रामकरण सिंह, एएसआई दीपक यादव, हेड कांस्टेबल कानदान, महावीर लखविंदर व सिपाही करनपाल शामिल रहे। टीम की त्वरित कार्रवाई के कारण आरोपी मौके पर ही गिरफ्तार हो गया, अन्यथा वह एमडी को आगे सप्लाई करने में सफल हो सकता था।
पुलिस का कहना है कि नशा तस्करी जैसी गंभीर वारदातों पर अंकुश लगाने के लिए ऐसे अभियान लगातार जारी रहेंगे। जांच पूरी होने के बाद इस मामले में और भी गिरफ्तारी होने की संभावना है।
Major crackdown in Bikaner: Youth arrested with 48 grams of MD, police conducting thorough investigation
Bikaner's ongoing anti-drug campaign has resulted in another major success for the police. In a joint operation, the Naal police station and the District Special Team (DST) arrested an accused with MD (methamphetamine) worth lakhs of rupees. According to the police, the operation was based on a reliable tip from an informant, following which the accused was apprehended at the scene.
Naal Police Station Officer Vikas Bishnoi stated that the police team received information that Firoz, son of Jamaldin, a resident of Karmisar Ward No. 23, was in possession of the narcotic substance MD and was preparing to supply it further. Upon receiving the information, the Naal Police Station and DST team conducted a joint raid. During the search, 48 grams of MD was recovered from Firoz's possession, estimated to be worth lakhs of rupees in the illegal market.
The police arrested the accused on the spot and have registered a case against him under the NDPS Act and initiated an investigation. According to the officer, the investigation will now focus on where the accused procured the drug, to whom he intended to supply it, and who else is involved in this illegal network. Police will also determine how long the accused has been active in this illegal trade.
An investigation is also underway to determine whether the arrested accused has any previous criminal record. In light of the growing drug menace, Bikaner Police is continuously taking strict action and activating various teams to tighten the noose on drug dealers in the area.
Sub-Inspector Ashok Kumar and his team from the Naal Police Station, along with ASI Ramkaran Singh, ASI Deepak Yadav, Head Constable Kandan, Mahavir Lakhwinder, and Constable Karanpal from the DST, participated in this operation. Due to the team's swift action, the accused was arrested on the spot, otherwise he could have been successful in supplying MD further.
The police say that such operations will continue to curb serious crimes like drug trafficking. More arrests are likely in this case once the investigation is complete.
