श्रीगंगानगर लोकसभा सीट पर कांग्रेस के 'डॉर्क हॉर्स' साबित हुए कुलदीप इंदौरा, प्रियंका बैलान हारी

श्रीगंगानगर लोकसभा सीट राजस्थान की 25 लोकसभा सीटों में एक सीट है. इसके अंतर्गत 8  विधानसभा सीटें आती है.  2014 तक हुए 16 लोकसभा चुनावों में बीजेपी  ने इस सीट पर 10 बार जीत दर्ज की, जबकि 4 चार बार बीजेपी का कब्जा रहा. वहीं 1 बार जनता पार्टी और 1 बार भारतीय लोकदल ने इस सीट पर जीत दर्ज की थी. यह सीट अनुसूचित जाति वालों के लिए आरक्षित की गई है. इसके अंतर्गत 1, गंगानगर और हनुमानगढ़ जिले के कुछ हिस्सों को मिलाकर बनाया गया है. साल 2011 की जनगणना के अनुसार यहां की जनसंख्या 27,49,150 है, जिसका 73.28 प्रतिशत हिस्सा ग्रामीण और 26.72 प्रतिशत हिस्सा शहरी है. वहीं कुल आबादी का 33.52 फीसदी अनुसूचित जाति हैं. इसके अलावा पंजाब से लगे इस क्षेत्र में सिखों की भी खासी आबादी है.

2024 का जनादेश
राजस्थान की श्रीगंगानगर लोकसभा सीट से कांग्रेस प्रत्याशी कुलदीप इंदौरा जीत गए हैं. जीत के बाद कांग्रेस प्रत्याशी ने कहा कि यह कार्यकर्ताओं की जीत है. आज देश की जनता भाजपा से बुरी तरह त्रस्त हो चुकी है और इसी का परिणाम है कि उन्हें लोगों का खूब आशीर्वाद मिला है.

आमने सामने की टक्कर
2024 के लोकसभा चुनाव में बीजेपी और कांग्रेस में आमने सामने की टक्कर हैं. शुरूआती रूझानों में कांग्रेस के 'डॉर्क हॉर्स' साबित  होकर कुलदीप इंदौरा लगातार बीजेपी की प्रियंका बैलान को कड़ी टक्कर दे रहे हैं. अपनी सीट को बरकरार रखने के लिए इस बार बीजेपी ने यहां अपने मौजूदा सांसद निहालचंद का टिकट काटकर नए चेहरे प्रियंका बैलान को मैदान में उतारा हुआ है. वहीं कांग्रेस ने इस सीट को बीजेपी से छीनने के लिए यहां के जिला प्रमुख कुलदीप इंदौरा पर दांव खेला है.

2019 का जनादेश
2019 के लोकसभा चुनाव में श्रीगंगानगर  में मेघवाल VS मेघवाल की लड़ाई देखी गई थीं. जिसमें बीजेपी के निहालचंद मेघवाल ने  8,97,177 वोट से कांग्रेस के भरत राम मेघवाल के खिलाफ  जीत दर्ज की थी.

Apart from this, there is a significant population of Sikhs in this area bordering Punjab.

Congress candidate Kuldeep Indora has won from Sriganganagar Lok Sabha seat in Rajasthan. After the victory, the Congress candidate said that this is the victory of the workers. Today the people of the country are badly troubled by the BJP and as a result of this, he has got a lot of blessings from the people.

Face to face competition

In the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, there is a face to face competition between BJP and Congress. Kuldeep Indora, who proved to be the 'dark horse' of Congress in the initial trends, is constantly giving a tough fight to BJP's Priyanka Bailan. To retain its seat, this time BJP has cut the ticket of its sitting MP Nihalchand and fielded new face Priyanka Bailan. At the same time, Congress has bet on the district head Kuldeep Indora to snatch this seat from BJP.

In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the battle of Meghwal VS Meghwal was seen in Sriganganagar. In which BJP's Nihalchand Meghwal won against Congress' Bharat Ram Meghwal by 8,97,177 votes.
