राजस्थान में मई की तपिश अपने चरम पर पहुंच रही है। पश्चिमी जिलों जैसे बीकानेर, जैसलमेर, बाड़मेर और जोधपुर में आज तेज लू (Heatwave) चलने की चेतावनी जारी की गई है। वहीं दूसरी ओर, मौसम विभाग के अनुसार दक्षिणी और पूर्वी राजस्थान, खासकर उदयपुर, चित्तौड़गढ़, कोटा और बूंदी में हल्की बारिश या गरज-चमक के साथ बौछारें पड़ सकती हैं।

पश्चिमी राजस्थान: लू का कहर जारी

बीकानेर और आसपास के इलाकों में दिन में तापमान 44°C से ऊपर पहुंच चुका है। तेज धूप और गर्म हवाओं के कारण दोपहर में सड़कों पर सन्नाटा पसरा रहता है। स्थानीय प्रशासन ने बुजुर्गों, बच्चों और बीमार लोगों को दोपहर 12 से 4 बजे तक बाहर न निकलने की सलाह दी है।

दक्षिण और पूर्वी राजस्थान में वर्षा के संकेत

मौसम विभाग (IMD) की ताज़ा रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, अरावली क्षेत्र और उससे सटे जिलों में नमी भरी हवाएं सक्रिय हैं। कोटा, उदयपुर, और डूंगरपुर में हल्की से मध्यम वर्षा के आसार हैं, जिससे इन इलाकों में थोड़ी राहत मिलने की उम्मीद है।

जनता के लिए सलाह:

• गर्म हवाओं से बचने के लिए ढीले व सूती कपड़े पहनें

• खूब पानी पिएं और डिहाइड्रेशन से बचें

• आवश्यक न हो तो दोपहर में घर से बाहर न निकलें

• बिजली उपकरणों व तारों से सावधान रहें क्योंकि आंधी या बारिश से शॉर्ट सर्किट का खतरा रहता है

The heat of May is reaching its peak in Rajasthan. A heatwave warning has been issued in western districts like Bikaner, Jaisalmer, Barmer and Jodhpur today. On the other hand, according to the Meteorological Department, light rain or thundershowers may occur in southern and eastern Rajasthan, especially Udaipur, Chittorgarh, Kota and Bundi.

Western Rajasthan: Heat wave continues

The temperature in Bikaner and surrounding areas has reached above 44°C during the day. Due to strong sunlight and hot winds, there is silence on the streets in the afternoon. The local administration has advised the elderly, children and sick people not to go out between 12 noon to 4 pm.

Signs of rain in South and East Rajasthan

According to the latest report of the Meteorological Department (IMD), moist winds are active in the Aravalli region and adjoining districts. Light to moderate rain is expected in Kota, Udaipur, and Dungarpur, which is expected to bring some relief in these areas.

Advice for the public:

Wear loose and cotton clothes to avoid hot winds

Drink plenty of water and avoid dehydration

Do not go out of the house in the afternoon unless necessary

Be careful of electrical equipment and wires as there is a risk of short circuit due to storm or rain
