बीकानेर में गोचर भूमि संरक्षण को लेकर संतों की चेतावनी -"अब सड़क पर उतरेंगे"

बीकानेर, 17 अक्टूबर —
गोचर भूमि संरक्षण को लेकर बीकानेर में संत समाज ने एक स्वर में चेतावनी दी कि यदि सरकार ने गोचर भूमि का अधिग्रहण बंद नहीं किया तो आंदोलन अब सड़कों पर उतरेगा। आनंद आश्रम, रानी बाजार में आयोजित गोचर बचाओ महाआंदोलन की प्रेस वार्ता में प्रदेशभर के संतों और सामाजिक कार्यकर्ताओं ने एकजुट होकर इस मुद्दे पर सरकार को घेरा।

सिंहस्थल पीठाधीश्वर महंत क्षमाराम जी महाराज ने कहा, “बीकानेर जिले की गोचर भूमि केवल जमीन नहीं, यह गौवंश और समस्त प्राणी मात्र के जीवन का आधार है। श्रद्धेय स्वामी रामसुखदास जी महाराज ने सदैव गोचर की रक्षा की प्रेरणा दी। बीकानेरवासियों, जनप्रतिनिधियों और समाज को मिलकर सरकार पर दबाव बनाना चाहिए ताकि गोचर भूमि बच सके। यदि सरकार इसकी ‘किस्म’ बदलती है तो यह प्राणी मात्र के हितों पर कुठाराघात होगा।”

उन्होंने कहा कि बीजेपी ने हमेशा “गाय और गोचर” के नाम पर वोट लिए, लेकिन अब उन्हीं के शासन में गोचर भूमि का अधिग्रहण किया जा रहा है — यह दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण है। उन्होंने केन्द्रीय मंत्री अर्जुनराम मेघवाल से इस मुद्दे पर आगे आने की अपील की और कहा कि यदि उन्होंने ऐसा नहीं किया तो यह संत समाज के साथ धोखा होगा।

स्वामी विमर्शानंद गिरि जी महाराज ने कहा, “गौ, गोचर, गंगा, गीता, गायत्री और गोरी — ये भारत की संस्कृति के प्रतीक हैं। यदि इनका संरक्षण नहीं हुआ तो राष्ट्र की आत्मा खतरे में पड़ जाएगी। बीकानेर की 188 गांवों की गोचर भूमि किसी भी सूरत में नष्ट नहीं होने दी जाएगी।”

संत किशनदास जी महाराज ने कहा, “गोचर हमारी आस्था, संस्कृति और पर्यावरण की धरोहर है। बीकानेर की 40,000 बीघा भूमि जनता ने अपने पैसों से छुड़वाई है — यह सरकारी नहीं, जन भूमि है। आवश्यकता पड़ी तो संत समाज धरना, प्रदर्शन और महापड़ाव करेगा, किंतु भू-परिवर्तन नहीं होने देगा।”

संयोजक शिवकुमार गहलोत ने कहा, “अब तक आंदोलन शांतिपूर्ण था, लेकिन प्रशासन हमारी भाषा नहीं समझ रहा। संगठन अब आर-पार की लड़ाई के लिए तैयार है — रेल रोकनी पड़े, सड़क जाम करनी पड़े या बीकानेर बंद करना पड़े, जो भी आवश्यक होगा किया जाएगा।”

उन्होंने कहा कि बीकानेर के छह विधायकों ने आंदोलन का समर्थन किया है, किंतु एक राज्य मंत्री और एक केंद्रीय मंत्री मौन हैं। यदि उन्होंने पहल नहीं की, तो जनता भविष्य में उनके कार्यक्रमों का विरोध करेगी।

Bikaner, October 17 —
Regarding the conservation of grazing lands, the saint community in Bikaner unanimously warned that if the government does not stop the acquisition of grazing lands, the movement will take to the streets. At the press conference of the Save Gochar Maha Andolan held at Anand Ashram, Rani Bazaar, saints and social activists from across the state united to corner the government on this issue.

Singhsthal Peethadheeshwar Mahant Kshama Ram Ji Maharaj said, "The grazing land in Bikaner district is not just land; it is the basis of life for cattle and all living beings. Revered Swami Ramsukhdas Ji Maharaj always inspired the protection of grazing land. Bikaner residents, public representatives, and society should collectively pressure the government to protect grazing land. If the government changes its nature, it will be a blow to the interests of all living beings."

He said that the BJP always won votes in the name of "cows and grazing land," but now, under their own rule, grazing land is being acquired—this is unfortunate. He appealed to Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal to take the lead on this issue, saying that not doing so would be a betrayal of the saint community.

Swami Vimarshanand Giri Ji Maharaj said, "Cows, pastures, the Ganga, the Gita, Gayatri, and Gori—these are symbols of Indian culture. If they are not protected, the soul of the nation will be in danger. The pasture lands of 188 villages in Bikaner will not be allowed to be destroyed under any circumstances."

Saint Kishandas Ji Maharaj said, "Gastelands are a heritage of our faith, culture, and environment. The people of Bikaner have freed 40,000 bighas of land with their own money—this is not government land, but public land. If necessary, the Sant Samaj will hold protests, demonstrations, and mass demonstrations, but will not allow land conversion."

Convenor Shivkumar Gehlot said, "So far, the movement has been peaceful, but the administration is not understanding our language. The organization is now ready for a do-or-die fight—whether it requires stopping trains, blocking roads, or shutting down Bikaner, whatever is necessary will be done."

He said that six MLAs from Bikaner have supported the movement, but one state minister and one central minister are remaining silent. If they don't take the initiative, the public will oppose their programs in the future.
