जयपुर। राजस्थान पुलिस की एंटी गैंगस्टर टास्क फोर्स (AGTF) ने एक बड़ी सफलता हासिल करते हुए दिल्ली पुलिस के वांटेड और 20 हजार रुपये के इनामी ड्रग तस्कर अजय सिंह शेखावत को जयपुर के विद्याधर नगर इलाके से गिरफ्तार किया है। आरोपी पिछले तीन वर्षों से पुलिस की पकड़ से बचता घूम रहा था और फर्जी पहचान के सहारे जयपुर में छिपकर रह रहा था।

 तीन साल से फरार, राजस्थान में छिपकर रह रहा था

एडीजी एटीएस एवं एसओजी दिनेश एम.एन. ने बताया कि आरोपी अजय सिंह शेखावत सीकर जिले के खंडेला क्षेत्र के लाडपुर का रहने वाला है। उसके खिलाफ 2022 में दिल्ली में ड्रग तस्करी से जुड़े मामले में वारंट जारी हुआ था। टीम को सूचना मिली कि वह जयपुर में किराए के मकान में रह रहा है, जिस पर निगरानी रखकर उसे हिरासत में लिया गया।

पकड़ में आने के बाद पुलिस ने उसे दिल्ली पुलिस के हवाले कर दिया है, जहां उसके खिलाफ आगे की पूछताछ और कानूनी कार्रवाई होगी।

 मामला 2022 की एनसीबी कार्रवाई से जुड़ा

13 जुलाई 2022 को नारकोटिक्स कंट्रोल ब्यूरो (एनसीबी) दिल्ली जोनल यूनिट ने एक कूरियर कंपनी पर बड़ी कार्रवाई की थी। जांच के दौरान एक संदिग्ध पार्सल को खोला गया, जिसमें एक खोखले ग्रेनाइट मार्बल लैंप के अंदर रंगीन धागों में लिपटी अल्प्राजोलम टैबलेट्स की स्ट्रिप्स मिलीं।

कुल 13,770 टैबलेट्स बरामद की गईं, जिनका वजन 1 किलो 515 ग्राम था। यह ड्रग्स का पार्सल सीकर निवासी राहुल कुमावत की ओर से अमेरिका के दीपक पटेल को भेजा जा रहा था। इसी मामले में अजय शेखावत भी आरोपी था और गिरफ्तारी से बचने के लिए पिछले तीन साल से फरार चल रहा था।

 अनोखा तरीका: मार्बल मूर्तियों में छिपाकर भेजते थे ड्रग्स

एडीजी दिनेश एम.एन. ने बताया कि यह गिरोह मार्बल उद्योग का इस्तेमाल कर तस्करी करता था। पलसाना क्षेत्र में मार्बल मूर्तियों को खोखला कर उसके अंदर अल्प्राजोलम जैसी प्रतिबंधित दवाएं छिपाई जाती थीं। बाद में इन्हें कूरियर कंपनियों के जरिए दिल्ली भेजा जाता था और वहां से अमेरिका सहित अन्य देशों में सप्लाई की जाती थी।

यह तरीका बेहद हाई-टेक और पकड़ से बचने वाला था, लेकिन समय रहते एनसीबी ने इस नेटवर्क का भंडाफोड़ कर दिया।

 AGTF की कार्रवाई में सफलता

एएसपी सिद्धांत शर्मा के नेतृत्व में एसआई बनवारी लाल और प्रताप सिंह की टीम ने आरोपी की लोकेशन की पुष्टि की और विद्याधर नगर से शांतिपूर्वक गिरफ्तार कर लिया। पुलिस को शक है कि यह नेटवर्क बड़े पैमाने पर अंतरराष्ट्रीय सप्लाई से जुड़ा हो सकता है।

 आगे की कार्रवाई

दिल्ली पुलिस अब आरोपी से पूछताछ कर सप्लाई चेन, फाइनेंसर और अन्य साथियों की जानकारी जुटाएगी। पुलिस को संभावना है कि गिरोह के और सदस्य बाहर देशों में सक्रिय हैं।

 On the run for three years, hiding in Rajasthan

ADG ATS and SOG, Dinesh M.N., stated that the accused, Ajay Singh Shekhawat, is a resident of Ladpur in the Khandela area of ​​Sikar district. A warrant had been issued against him in 2022 in a drug trafficking case in Delhi. The team received information that he was living in a rented house in Jaipur, and after keeping him under surveillance, he was taken into custody.

After his arrest, the police handed him over to the Delhi Police, where further questioning and legal action will be taken against him.

 Case linked to a 2022 NCB operation

On July 13, 2022, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) Delhi Zonal Unit conducted a major operation at a courier company. During the investigation, a suspicious parcel was opened, which contained strips of Alprazolam tablets wrapped in colored threads inside a hollow granite marble lamp.

A total of 13,770 tablets were recovered, weighing 1 kg 515 grams. This parcel of drugs was being sent by Rahul Kumawat, a resident of Sikar, to Deepak Patel in the USA. Ajay Shekhawat was also an accused in this case and had been absconding for the past three years to avoid arrest.

 Unique method: Drugs smuggled hidden in marble sculptures

ADG Dinesh M.N. stated that this gang used the marble industry for smuggling. In the Palsana area, marble sculptures were hollowed out, and prohibited drugs like Alprazolam were hidden inside. These were then sent to Delhi through courier companies and from there supplied to other countries, including the USA. This method was highly sophisticated and designed to evade detection, but the NCB (Narcotics Control Bureau) successfully busted the network in time.

 Success in AGTF operation

Under the leadership of ASP Siddhant Sharma, a team comprising SI Banwari Lal and Pratap Singh confirmed the accused's location and arrested him peacefully from Vidyadhar Nagar. Police suspect that this network may be linked to a large-scale international supply chain.

 Further action

The Delhi Police will now interrogate the accused to gather information about the supply chain, financiers, and other accomplices. Police believe that more members of the gang may be operating in other countries.
