1 जुलाई 2024 से देश में कई महत्वपूर्ण नियमों में बदलाव होने जा रहे हैं, जो आम लोगों के जीवन को सीधे तौर पर प्रभावित करेंगे। क्रेडिट कार्ड बिल पेमेंट, मोबाइल सिम कार्ड पोर्टेबिलिटी, इनएक्टिव वॉलेट और आपराधिक कानूनों में संशोधन शामिल हैं। आइए जानते हैं इन परिवर्तनों का विस्तार से प्रभाव।

क्रेडिट कार्ड बिल पेमेंट में बदलाव

1 जुलाई 2024 से क्रेडिट कार्ड बिल पेमेंट से जुड़े नियमों में बड़ा बदलाव हो रहा है। भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक (RBI) के नए निर्देशानुसार, अब सभी क्रेडिट कार्ड बिल पेमेंट भारत बिल पेमेंट सिस्टम (BBPS) के माध्यम से ही किए जाएंगे। यह बदलाव उन ग्राहकों को प्रभावित कर सकता है जो अब तक अन्य पेमेंट प्लेटफॉर्म का उपयोग करते थे। BBPS एक केंद्रीकृत प्रणाली है जो बिलिंग को अधिक सुरक्षित और सटीक बनाता है।

सिम कार्ड पोर्ट नियम

सिम कार्ड संबंधित नियमों में भी 1 जुलाई 2024 से परिवर्तन होगा। ट्राई (TRAI) ने मोबाइल नंबर पोर्टेबिलिटी (MNP) प्रक्रिया में बदलाव किया है। अब सिम कार्ड चोरी या डैमेज होने की स्थिति में नया सिम कार्ड प्राप्त करने के लिए 7 दिन का इंतजार करना होगा, जो पहले स्टोर से तुरंत मिल जाता था। इस बदलाव का उद्देश्य सुरक्षा में सुधार करना और सिम की गलत उपयोग की संभावना को कम करना है।

पेटीएम बैंक का इनएक्टिव वॉलेट होगा बंद

पेटीएम पेमेंट बैंक ने घोषणा की है कि उसके इनएक्टिव वॉलेट 20 जुलाई 2024 से बंद कर दिए जाएंगे। उन वॉलेट्स को बंद किया जाएगा जिनमें पिछले एक साल या उससे अधिक समय से कोई लेन-देन नहीं हुआ है और जिनका बैलेंस जीरो है। इस कदम का उद्देश्य निष्क्रिय खातों को हटाना और सिस्टम की कार्यक्षमता में सुधार करना है। प्रभावित यूजर्स को 30 दिन पहले सूचना दी जाएगी।

नए आपराधिक कानून होंगे लागू

1 जुलाई 2024 से भारत में दण्ड आधारित न्याय प्रणाली के पुराने कानूनों की जगह तीन नए आपराधिक कानून लागू होंगे। ये नए कानून हैं:

1. भारतीय न्याय संहिता 2023
2. भारतीय साक्ष्य अधिनियम 2023
3. भारतीय नागरिक सुरक्षा संहिता 2023

इन नए कानूनों का उद्देश्य अपराधियों पर कठोर नियंत्रण स्थापित करना और न्याय प्रक्रिया को अधिक पारदर्शी और त्वरित बनाना है।

From July 1, 2024, there is a big change in the rules related to credit card bill payment. As per the new instructions of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), now all credit card bill payments will be made through Bharat Bill Payment System (BBPS) only. This change may affect those customers who used to use other payment platforms till now. BBPS is a centralized system that makes billing more secure and accurate.

SIM card port rules

SIM card related rules will also change from July 1, 2024. TRAI has changed the mobile number portability (MNP) process. Now in case of SIM card theft or damage, one will have to wait for 7 days to get a new SIM card, which was earlier available immediately from the store. The purpose of this change is to improve security and reduce the possibility of misuse of SIM.

Paytm Bank's inactive wallet will be closed

Paytm Payment Bank has announced that its inactive wallets will be closed from July 20, 2024. Wallets that have not had any transactions for the last one year or more and whose balance is zero will be closed. The move is aimed at removing inactive accounts and improving the functionality of the system. Affected users will be informed 30 days in advance.

New criminal laws will be implemented

From July 1, 2024, three new criminal laws will be implemented in India, replacing the old laws of the penal-based justice system. These new laws are:
