बीकानेर में बड़ी कार्रवाई: पुलिस और बीकेईएसएल ने पकड़ी एक लाख यूनिट की बिजली चोरी

बीकानेर। शहर पुलिस की मदद से बीकेईएसएल (Bikaner Electricity Supply Limited) ने भुट्टो का बास क्षेत्र में बुधवार को बड़ी कार्रवाई की। यह कार्रवाई बिजली चोरी को रोकने के लिए की गई, क्योंकि इस इलाके में हर महीने करीब एक लाख यूनिट बिजली की चोरी हो रही थी।

बीकेईएसएल के सीओओ जयंत राय चौधरी ने बताया कि पुलिस की मौजूदगी में कंपनी की टीम ने दरगाह वाले विद्युत वितरण ट्रांसफार्मर से जुड़े करीब 70 उपभोक्ताओं के घरों में लगे मीटरों को नियमानुसार बाहर लगाने की कार्रवाई की। टीम ने इस दौरान कई घरों की कटी-फटी सर्विस केबलों को बदल दिया और खुले तारों की जगह आर्मर्ड केबल लगाई, जिससे अब लाइन से बिजली चोरी करना संभव नहीं रहेगा।

उन्होंने बताया कि इलाके में लंबे समय से बिजली चोरी की शिकायतें मिल रही थीं। इस कार्रवाई के दौरान कंपनी ने ट्रांसफॉर्मर और अन्य तकनीकी उपकरणों की मरम्मत भी की, ताकि उपभोक्ताओं को सुचारू और उच्च गुणवत्ता की बिजली आपूर्ति मिल सके।

बीकेईएसएल के अधिकारी ने बताया कि इस ट्रांसफॉर्मर से जुड़े उपभोक्ता हर महीने करीब एक लाख यूनिट बिजली की चोरी कर रहे थे, जिससे कंपनी को भारी आर्थिक नुकसान हो रहा था। इस कारण पुलिस प्रशासन से सहयोग लेकर बड़ी कार्रवाई की गई।

इस अभियान में करीब 50 पुलिस अधिकारी व कर्मचारी मौके पर मौजूद थे, जबकि बीकेईएसएल की ओर से 50 से अधिक अधिकारी और तकनीकी कर्मचारी कार्रवाई में शामिल हुए। पूरे दिन चले इस ऑपरेशन से क्षेत्र में हड़कंप मच गया।

बीकेईएसएल के अधिकारियों ने कहा कि कंपनी अब ऐसे क्षेत्रों पर विशेष निगरानी रखेगी, जहां बिजली चोरी के मामले सामने आते हैं। भविष्य में भी पुलिस और प्रशासन के सहयोग से इस तरह की कार्रवाई लगातार जारी रहेगी ताकि बीकानेर में बिजली आपूर्ति व्यवस्था बेहतर हो और अवैध कनेक्शन पर पूरी तरह अंकुश लगाया जा सके।

Major action in Bikaner: Police and BKESL caught electricity theft of one lakh units

Bikaner. With the help of the city police, Bikaner Electricity Supply Limited (BKESL) conducted a major operation in the Bhutto Ka Bas area on Wednesday. This action was taken to prevent power theft, as approximately 100,000 units of electricity were being stolen in this area every month.

BKESL COO Jayant Rai Chaudhary stated that, in the presence of police, the company team, in accordance with the regulations, installed meters outside the homes of approximately 70 consumers connected to the Dargah power distribution transformer. The team also replaced the damaged service cables in several homes and replaced the exposed wires with armored cables, making it impossible to steal electricity from the line.

He explained that complaints of power theft had been received in the area for a long time. During this operation, the company also repaired the transformer and other technical equipment to ensure uninterrupted and high-quality power supply to consumers.

A BKESL official stated that consumers connected to this transformer were stealing approximately 100,000 units of electricity every month, causing significant financial losses to the company. For this reason, a major operation was carried out with the cooperation of the police administration.

Around 50 police officers and personnel were present on the spot during this operation, while over 50 officers and technical staff from BKESL participated in the operation. This operation, which lasted all day, created a stir in the area.

BKESL officials stated that the company will now keep a special vigil on areas where cases of power theft are reported. In the future, such operations will continue with the cooperation of the police and administration to improve the power supply system in Bikaner and completely curb illegal connections.
