राजस्‍थान में आचार संहिता का असर : जब्ती का आंकड़ा पहुंचा 150 करोड़ रुपये के पार

राजस्थान में अलग-अलग एनफोर्समेंट एजेंसियों ने मार्च महीने की शुरुआत से अब तक नशीली दवाओं, शराब, कीमती धातुओं, मुफ्त बांटी जाने वाली वस्तुओं (फ्रीबीज) और अवैध नकद राशि के रूप में लगभग 248 करोड़ रुपये कीमत की जब्तियां की हैं। निर्वाचन विभाग के निर्देश पर लोकसभा आम चुनाव-2024 के मद्देनजर आदर्श आचार संहिता लागू होने के बाद 16 मार्च से अब तक एजेंसियों द्वारा पकड़ी गई वस्तुओं की कीमत 150 करोड़ रुपये से ज्यादा है।

मुख्य निर्वाचन अधिकारी प्रवीण गुप्ता ने बताया कि प्रदेश में अलग-अलग एजेंसियां चुनाव को प्रभावित करने के उद्देश्य से संदिग्ध वस्तुओं और धन के अवैध उपयोग पर कड़ी निगरानी कर रही हैं. इसी क्रम में प्रदेश भर में लगातार जब्ती की कार्रवाई की जा रही है। गुप्ता ने बताया कि राजस्थान में 7 जिलों में 10-10 करोड़ रूपये से अधिक मूल्य की संदिग्ध वस्तुएं अथवा नकद बरामद हुआ है। ये जिले हैं- जोधपुर, पाली, जयपुर, उदयपुर, भीलवाड़ा, गंगानगर और बाड़मेर।

जिला वार आंकड़ों के अनुसार, सर्वाधिक लगभग 32.88 करोड़ रुपये मूल्य की वस्तुओं की जब्ती जोधपुर में हुई है। साथ ही, लगभग 18.61 करोड़ रुपये की जब्ती के साथ पाली दूसरे स्थान पर है. जयपुर में 17.63 करोड़ रुपये, उदयपुर में 13.70 करोड़ रुपये, भीलवाड़ा में 13.08 करोड़ रूपये, गंगानगर में 12.65 करोड़ और बाड़मेर में 11.17 करोड़ रुपये मूल्य की वस्तुओं की जब्ती की जा चुकी है।

Impact of code of conduct in Rajasthan: Seizure figure crosses Rs 150 crore

Various enforcement agencies in Rajasthan have seized drugs, liquor, precious metals, freebies and illegal cash worth approximately Rs 248 crore since the beginning of March. The value of the items seized by the agencies since March 16 is more than Rs 150 crore, after the implementation of the Model Code of Conduct in view of the Lok Sabha General Elections-2024 on the instructions of the Election Department.

Chief Electoral Officer Praveen Gupta said that different agencies in the state are keeping a strict vigil on suspicious items and illegal use of money for the purpose of influencing the elections. In this sequence, continuous seizure action is being taken across the state. Gupta said that suspicious items or cash worth more than Rs 10 crore each have been recovered in 7 districts of Rajasthan. These districts are- Jodhpur, Pali, Jaipur, Udaipur, Bhilwara, Ganganagar and Barmer.

According to district wise data, the maximum seizure of items worth Rs 32.88 crore has taken place in Jodhpur. Also, Pali is in second place with seizure of approximately Rs 18.61 crore. Goods worth Rs 17.63 crore have been seized in Jaipur, Rs 13.70 crore in Udaipur, Rs 13.08 crore in Bhilwara, Rs 12.65 crore in Ganganagar and Rs 11.17 crore in Barmer.
