श्रीडूंगरगढ़। दहेज के खिलाफ सख्त कानून और जागरूकता अभियानों के बावजूद समाज में दहेज प्रताड़ना के मामले कम होने का नाम नहीं ले रहे। ताजा मामला श्रीडूंगरगढ़ पुलिस थाना क्षेत्र का है, जहां एक विवाहिता ने अपने ससुराल पक्ष के पांच लोगों पर दहेज के लिए प्रताड़ित करने, मारपीट करने और मानसिक तनाव देने के गंभीर आरोप लगाए हैं।

प्राप्त जानकारी के अनुसार पीड़िता ने पुलिस में दर्ज रिपोर्ट में बताया कि विवाह के शुरुआती कुछ महीनों तक सबकुछ सामान्य रहा, लेकिन धीरे-धीरे ससुराल वालों का रवैया बदलता गया। आरोप है कि उसके पति, सास, ससुर सहित परिवार के अन्य सदस्यों ने दहेज स्वरूप अलग-अलग मांगें रखना शुरू कर दिया।

पीड़िता के मुताबिक उसने अपनी क्षमता अनुसार कई बार घर-परिवार की आवश्यकताओं को पूरा करने की कोशिश की, लेकिन इसके बावजूद आरोपियों की मांगें बढ़ती गईं। जब वह ससुराल पक्ष की अपेक्षाओं को पूरा नहीं कर पाई, तो उसे नियमित रूप से ताने दिए जाने लगे। पीड़िता ने आरोप लगाया कि मांगें पूरी न होने पर उसके साथ मारपीट की जाती, जिससे वह मानसिक और शारीरिक रूप से टूटने लगी।

रिपोर्ट में यह भी उल्लेख है कि आरोपियों ने उसे भावनात्मक रूप से कमजोर करने, डराने और प्रताड़ित करने की कोशिश की। पीड़िता का कहना है कि उसने कई बार समझौता करने की कोशिश की, लेकिन आरोपीगण का व्यवहार और अधिक कठोर होता गया। इससे तंग आकर उसने कानूनी कदम उठाने का निर्णय लिया और पांच नामजद आरोपियों के खिलाफ मुकदमा दर्ज करवाया।

श्रीडूंगरगढ़ थाना पुलिस ने मामला दर्ज करते हुए जांच का कार्यभार एसआई राजेंद्र कुमार को सौंप दिया है। पुलिस अब पीड़िता के बयान, मेडिकल रिपोर्ट और अन्य साक्ष्यों के आधार पर मामले की गहराई से जांच कर रही है।

समाज में दहेज जैसी कुप्रथाओं के चलते हर साल कई महिलाएं शारीरिक, मानसिक और आर्थिक रूप से पीड़ित होती हैं। इस घटना ने एक बार फिर यह सवाल खड़ा कर दिया है कि शिक्षित समाज में भी दहेज के नाम पर महिलाओं को कब तक प्रताड़ना झेलनी पड़ेगी।

पुलिस अधिकारियों का कहना है कि मामले की जांच निष्पक्षता से की जाएगी और यदि आरोप सही पाए जाते हैं तो सम्बंधित आरोपियों के खिलाफ सख्त कार्रवाई होगी।

According to the victim, she repeatedly tried to meet her family's needs to the best of her ability, but despite this, the accused's demands continued to escalate. When she failed to meet her in-laws' expectations, she was regularly taunted. She alleged that she was subjected to physical and mental abuse for failing to meet these demands, which left her mentally and physically exhausted.

The report also states that the accused tried to emotionally weaken, intimidate, and harass her. The victim says she tried to compromise several times, but the accused's behavior became increasingly harsh. Fed up with this, she decided to take legal action and filed a case against five named accused.

The Sridungargarh police station has registered a case and assigned the investigation to SI Rajendra Kumar. The police are now conducting a thorough investigation based on the victim's statement, medical reports, and other evidence.
