वार्ड 26 के पार्षद व जलदाय कर्मियों के खिलाफ प्रदर्शन
बीकानेर। एक ओर राज्य सरकार व जिला प्रशासन तेज गर्मी को देखते हुए आमजन को बिजली पानी की उपलब्धता के दावे कर रही है। वहीं दूसरी ओर वार्ड 26 में पानी के लिये लोगों को दो दो हाथ करने पड़ रहे है। इसके लिये स्थानीय लोग वार्ड पार्षद को जिम्मेदार ठहरा रहे है। बताया जा रहा है कि भाजपा समर्थित पार्षद अपनी खीस निकालते हुए बद्री भैरव मंदिर के पास चोपड़ा बाड़ी में जल कनेक्शन करवाने में बाधक बने हुए है। जिसको लेकर आज गंगाशहर के स्थानीय लोगों ने अपनी पीड़ा कलेक्टर,संभागीय आयुक्त को बताई।
इन लोगों का कहना था कि बार-बार जल कनेक्शन के लिये आवेदन के पश्चात भी जल कनेक्शन नहीं दिए जा रहे है। इसको लेकर पार्षद व जलदाय कर्मियों द्वारा भ्रष्टाचार करके अवैध कनेक्शन करवाने व उनके अवैध वसूली करने की बात कही। विभाग द्वारा कभी गंगाशहर टंकी क्षेत्र तो कभी नत्थूसर टंकी क्षेत्र का हवाला देकर कनेक्शन देने में टाल मटोल कर रहे है। जबकि 25 से ज्यादा परिवारों ने नये जल कनेक्शन को लेकर अनेक बार आवेदन की फाइल लक्ष्मीनाथ मंदिर के पास स्थित कार्यालय में भी लगाई।
किन्तु अधिकारी वार्ड पार्षद के दबाव में कनेक्शन नहीं कर रहे है। इससे स्थानीय लोगों को मूलभूत सुविधा से वंचित होना पड़ रहा है। इस दौरान मोहल्ले वासियों में आक्रोश करते हुए चेतावनी दी है कि अब कोई भी जलदायकर्मी जल कनेक्शन नहीं दिया तो जमकर विरोध किया जायेगा। लोगों ने ज्ञापन देते हुए बताया कि उन्होंने विधायक व अधिकारियों से भी गुहार लगाई। लेकिन कोई सुनवाई नहीं कर रहा है।

Bikaner. On one hand, the state government and the district administration are claiming availability of electricity and water to the general public in view of the scorching heat. On the other hand, people in ward 26 are having to struggle for water. The local people are holding the ward councilor responsible for this. It is being told that the BJP-supported councilor is venting his anger and is creating obstacles in getting water connection in Chopra Bari near Badri Bhairav temple. Regarding which, today the local people of Gangashahar told their pain to the Collector, Divisional Commissioner.
These people said that even after applying for water connection repeatedly, water connections are not being given. Regarding this, the councilor and water supply workers are accused of getting illegal connections through corruption and illegal recovery. The department is delaying in giving connection by sometimes citing Gangashahar Tanki area and sometimes Natthusar Tanki area. While more than 25 families have also filed the application file for new water connection several times in the office located near Lakshminath temple.
But the officials are not providing connection under pressure from the ward councilor. Due to this, local people are being deprived of basic facilities. Meanwhile, the residents of the locality have become angry and have warned that if any water supply worker does not provide water connection, then there will be strong protest. While giving a memorandum, people said that they also appealed to the MLA and officials. But no one is listening.
