NH-11 पर खतरनाक चेकिंग: ट्रेलर अनियंत्रित, बस सवार बचे बाल-बाल

नापासर पुलिस थाना क्षेत्र में राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग 11 पर मंगलवार सुबह एक बड़ा हादसा टल गया। गुसाईंसर–नौरंगदेसर के बीच भारतमाला सड़क के नीचे बने पुलिया की गोलाई पर आरटीओ टीम द्वारा वाहनों की चेकिंग की जा रही थी। इसी दौरान तेज गति से ओवरटेक कर रहा एक ट्रेलर अचानक असंतुलित हो गया और पुलिया के पिलर से जोरदार टकरा गया। हादसे में श्री बजरंग ट्रेवल्स की एक बस भी फंस गई, हालांकि गनीमत रही कि किसी यात्री की जान नहीं गई।

प्रत्यक्षदर्शियों के अनुसार बीकानेर की ओर से आ रहे ट्रेलर चालक ने आरटीओ टीम को देखते ही अचानक वाहन की गति बढ़ा दी। इसी जल्दबाजी में उसने संतुलन खो दिया और ट्रेलर सीधे पुलिया के पिलर से जा भिड़ा। टक्कर इतनी तेज थी कि ट्रेलर सड़क के किनारे खड़ा होकर बेकाबू हालत में हिलने लगा। उसी समय सामने से आ रही श्री बजरंग ट्रेवल्स की बस भी इसमें फंस गई, जिसमें 5 से 7 यात्री सवार थे।

बस परिचालक ने बताया कि ट्रेलर की टक्कर के बाद धूल और धुआं उठ गया, जिससे लोगों में घबराहट फैल गई। परिचालक के हाथ-पैर में हल्की चोटें आईं, लेकिन सभी यात्री सुरक्षित रहे। बस चालक ने ट्रेलर से टकराव के बाद बस को नियंत्रित रखते हुए बड़ा हादसा होने से बचा लिया।

हादसे के बाद मौके पर मौजूद लोगों और यात्रियों ने पुलिया की गोलाई पर की जा रही आरटीओ चेकिंग को ‘‘खतरनाक’’ बताया। उनका कहना है कि पुलिया पर पहले से ही मोड़ है, जहां बड़े वाहन अक्सर स्लो होते हैं। ऐसे में अचानक चेकिंग करने से ड्राइवर घबरा जाते हैं और दुर्घटना की आशंका बढ़ जाती है। कई लोगों ने इस स्थान पर चेकिंग बंद करने और किसी सुरक्षित क्षेत्र में ले जाने की मांग की।

सूचना मिलते ही नापासर पुलिस की टीम मौके पर पहुंच गई और ट्रैफिक को नियंत्रित किया। पुलिस ने ट्रेलर चालक और बस चालक से प्रारंभिक पूछताछ की है। वहीं आरटीओ टीम ने भी हादसे की परिस्थितियों का अवलोकन किया।

स्थानीय वाहन चालकों का कहना है कि यह पहला मौका नहीं है जब यहां चेकिंग के कारण जोखिमपूर्ण स्थिति बनी हो। पुलिया पर वाहनों की तेज रफ्तार और अचानक रुकावट दुर्घटना को निमंत्रण देती है। लोगों का कहना है कि आरटीओ को चेकिंग के लिए कोई खुला और सुरक्षित स्थान चुनना चाहिए, जहां हाईवे की रफ्तार पर असर न पड़े।

फिलहाल नापासर पुलिस मामले की जांच में जुटी है और वाहन चालकों से अपील की है कि NH-11 पर चलाते समय सतर्क रहें।

Dangerous checking on NH-11: Trailer goes out of control, bus passengers have a narrow escape

A major accident was averted on National Highway 11 in the Napasar police station area on Tuesday morning. The RTO team was checking vehicles at the curve of a culvert under the Bharatmala road between Gusainsar and Naurangdesar. Meanwhile, a speeding trailer suddenly lost control and collided with the culvert pillar. A bus belonging to Shri Bajrang Travels was also caught in the accident, though fortunately, no passengers were injured.

According to eyewitnesses, the trailer driver, coming from Bikaner, suddenly increased the speed of the vehicle upon seeing the RTO team. In his haste, he lost control, and the trailer collided directly with the culvert pillar. The impact was so severe that the trailer stopped on the side of the road and began to sway uncontrollably. At the same time, an oncoming bus belonging to Shri Bajrang Travels, carrying five to seven passengers, also became entangled in it.

The bus conductor reported that dust and smoke arose after the collision, causing panic among the people. The conductor suffered minor injuries to his hands and legs, but all passengers remained safe. The bus driver maintained control of the bus after the collision with the trailer, preventing a major accident.

After the accident, passengers and onlookers described the RTO checking being conducted at the culvert's curve as "dangerous." They said the culvert already has a curve where large vehicles often slow down. Sudden checking in this area makes drivers nervous and increases the risk of accidents. Many people demanded that the checking be stopped at this location and moved to a safer area.

Upon receiving information, a Napasar police team arrived at the scene and controlled traffic. Police conducted preliminary inquiries with the trailer driver and the bus driver. The RTO team also observed the circumstances of the accident.

Local drivers say this is not the first time a dangerous situation has arisen due to checking here. The high speed of vehicles on the culvert and the sudden stoppage invite accidents. People say that the RTO should choose an open and safe place for checking, where the speed of the highway will not be affected.

The Napasar police are currently investigating the matter and have appealed to drivers to be cautious while driving on NH-11.
