बीकानेर की सदर पुलिस की बड़ी कार्रवाई: सट्टा खेलते दो युवक गिरफ्तार, नकदी व पर्चियां जब्त

सदर थाना पुलिस ने शहर में अवैध सट्टेबाजी के खिलाफ बड़ी कार्रवाई करते हुए दो युवकों के खिलाफ मुकदमा दर्ज किया है। यह कार्रवाई तर्थम्भ चौराहा क्षेत्र में की गई, जहां आरोपी खुले स्थान पर अंकों के आधार पर रुपए का दांव लगाकर सट्टा खेल रहे थे।

पुलिस के अनुसार, आरोपियों ने एक समूह के रूप में संगठित होकर सार्वजनिक स्थान पर सट्टा खेला, जो आपराधिक गतिविधि में आता है। सट्टेबाजी के इस खेल में एक व्यक्ति को अनुचित लाभ और दूसरे को अनुचित हानि पहुंचाने का उद्देश्य था, जो सीधे तौर पर कानून का उल्लंघन है।

पुलिस टीम ने मौके पर दबिश दी और दो व्यक्तियों को रंगे हाथों पकड़ लिया। उनके कब्जे से ₹2230 नकद, सट्टे की पर्ची और एक डॉट पेन बरामद किया गया। यह सभी सामग्री पुलिस ने साक्ष्य के रूप में जब्त की है।

जिन आरोपियों पर मामला दर्ज हुआ है, उनमें —

• गजराज सिंह पुत्र मोहन सिंह, निवासी पुरानी गिन्नाणी, हाल इंद्रा कॉलोनी, महाजन हाउस के पास

• भैरू सिंह पुत्र दुर्गा सिंह, निवासी इंद्रा कॉलोनी

शामिल हैं।

पुलिस ने दोनों के खिलाफ बीएनएस की धारा 112(2) और 13 आरजीपीओ एक्ट के तहत मुकदमा दर्ज किया है। पूरे मामले की जांच एसआई रतनलाल को सौंपी गई है, जो आगे सट्टा नेटवर्क और संबंधित कनेक्शन की जांच करेंगे।

सदर पुलिस की इस कार्रवाई से यह स्पष्ट होता है कि क्षेत्र में अवैध सट्टे और आपराधिक गतिविधियों पर निगरानी बढ़ा दी गई है। पुलिस का कहना है कि सार्वजनिक स्थानों पर सट्टेबाजी न केवल कानूनन अपराध है बल्कि इससे कई सामाजिक व आर्थिक नुकसान भी होते हैं। ऐसे में भविष्य में भी इस तरह की कार्रवाई जारी रहेगी।

स्थानीय लोगों का कहना है कि इलाके में कुछ समय से सट्टेबाजी की शिकायतें सामने आ रही थीं, ऐसे में पुलिस का यह कदम सराहनीय माना जा रहा है। उन्होंने उम्मीद जताई कि पुलिस आगे भी इस तरह की गतिविधियों को रोकने के लिए लगातार कार्रवाई करती रहेगी।

पुलिस प्रशासन ने आम जनता से अपील की है कि किसी भी प्रकार की अवैध सट्टेबाजी, जुए या संदिग्ध गतिविधि की सूचना तुरंत पुलिस को दें, ताकि समय रहते कानूनी कार्रवाई की जा सके।

Bikaner's Sadar police take major action: Two youths arrested for gambling, cash and betting slips seized.

Sadar police station has registered a case against two youths in a major crackdown against illegal gambling in the city. The action was taken in the Tirthambh Chowk area, where the accused were gambling by placing bets on numbers in a public place.

According to the police, the accused, acting as an organized group, were gambling in a public place, which constitutes a criminal activity. The objective of this gambling was to cause undue gain to one person and undue loss to another, which is a direct violation of the law.

A police team raided the spot and apprehended two individuals red-handed. ₹2230 in cash, gambling slips, and a pen were recovered from their possession. All these items have been seized by the police as evidence.

The accused against whom the case has been registered are:

Gajraj Singh, son of Mohan Singh, resident of Purani Ginnani, currently residing near Mahajan House, Indira Colony

Bhairu Singh, son of Durga Singh, resident of Indira Colony

The police have registered a case against both under Section 112(2) of the BNS and Section 13 of the Rajasthan Gambling Prevention Ordinance (RGPO) Act. The investigation of the entire case has been handed over to SI Ratanlal, who will further investigate the gambling network and related connections.

This action by the Sadar police makes it clear that surveillance against illegal gambling and criminal activities has been increased in the area. The police stated that gambling in public places is not only a legal offense but also causes several social and economic harms. Therefore, such actions will continue in the future.

Local residents say that complaints of gambling had been coming from the area for some time, and this step by the police is being appreciated. They expressed hope that the police will continue to take action to stop such activities in the future as well.

The police administration has appealed to the general public to immediately inform the police about any kind of illegal gambling, betting, or suspicious activity so that legal action can be taken promptly.
