बीकानेर। जिले के रणजीतपुरा क्षेत्र से रविवार शाम एक सनसनीखेज मामला सामने आया, जहां कुछ लोग स्कॉर्पियो लेकर जंगली सूअरों का अवैध शिकार करने पहुंचे। ग्रामीणों को जब इसकी जानकारी मिली, तो बड़ी संख्या में लोग मौके पर एकत्र हो गए। दोनों पक्षों के बीच विवाद बढ़ा और कहासुनी के दौरान धक्का–मुक्की तक की नौबत आ गई। घटना में कुछ लोगों को चोट लगने की भी जानकारी मिली है।

सूचना मिलते ही रणजीतपुरा पुलिस और वन विभाग की टीम मौके पर पहुँची। वन विभाग ने तीन शिकारियों को हिरासत में लिया और उनके कब्जे से एक स्कॉर्पियो वाहन जब्त किया। शिकारियों से पूछताछ की जा रही है कि वे क्षेत्र में किस उद्देश्य से आए और उनके साथ कितने अन्य लोग शामिल थे।

वन विभाग के रेंजर दीपेन्द्र राव ने बताया
“मौके से तीन शिकारियों को पकड़ा गया है। वाहन भी ज़ब्त कर लिया गया है। प्राथमिक जांच में जंगली सूअर के शिकार की कोशिश सामने आई है। आरोपियों पर वन्यजीव संरक्षण अधिनियम के तहत मुकदमा दर्ज किया जा रहा है।”

स्थानीय लोगों का कहना है कि यह पहला मामला नहीं है। जीव रक्षा संस्था के मोखराम धारणियां ने बताया कि इस क्षेत्र में लंबे समय से अवैध शिकार की घटनाएँ बढ़ रही हैं।
उन्होंने कहा—
“हम कई बार शिकायत कर चुके हैं, लेकिन शिकारी नए-नए तरीके अपनाकर जंगली जानवरों को नुकसान पहुँचा रहे हैं। इस बार आरोपियों पर कठोर कार्रवाई होनी चाहिए ताकि ऐसी घटनाएँ दोबारा न हों।”

 ग्रामीणों ने बचाई जानवरों की जान

ग्रामीणों ने बताया कि शोर सुनकर वे इकट्ठे हुए और शिकारियों का विरोध किया। इसी बीच झड़प की स्थिति पैदा हुई। कई ग्रामीणों को हल्की चोटें आईं, जिनका प्राथमिक उपचार कराया गया।

वन विभाग अब मोबाइल पेट्रोलिंग बढ़ाने और ग्रामीणों के साथ संयुक्त निगरानी तंत्र बनाने पर विचार कर रहा है। ग्रामीणों ने भी चेतावनी दी है कि भविष्य में शिकारी पकड़े जाने पर कड़ा विरोध किया जाएगा।

घटना ने इलाके में दहशत और गुस्सा दोनों बढ़ाए हैं। अधिकारी जल्द रिपोर्ट तैयार कर उच्चाधिकारियों को भेजेंगे।

Some people reportedly sustained injuries in the incident.

Upon receiving the information, the Ranjitpura police and Forest Department team reached the spot. The Forest Department detained three hunters and seized a Scorpio vehicle from their possession. The hunters are being interrogated to determine their purpose for being in the area and how many other people were involved with them.

Forest Department Ranger Dipendra Rao stated:
“Three hunters have been apprehended from the spot. The vehicle has also been seized. Preliminary investigation reveals an attempt to hunt wild boars. A case is being registered against the accused under the Wildlife Protection Act.”

Local residents say this is not the first such incident. Mokharam Dharaniya of the Animal Protection Organization stated that incidents of illegal hunting have been increasing in this area for a long time.
He said—
“We have complained several times, but the hunters are using new methods to harm wild animals. This time, strict action should be taken against the accused so that such incidents do not happen again.”
