बीकानेर। नागणेचीजी मंदिर रोड से महिला थाना होकर रानी बाजार औद्योगिक क्षेत्र पहुंचने वाले मार्ग पर लंबे समय से लंबित रेलवे ओवरब्रिज बनने की राह अब साफ हो गई है। प्रदेश सरकार ने इस प्रोजेक्ट के लिए 40 करोड़ रुपए का बजट जारी कर दिया, जिसके बाद ओवरब्रिज निर्माण की प्रक्रिया आगे बढ़ गई है। बीकानेर शहर में इस रेलवे फाटक पर लगातार जाम और प्रतीक्षा के कारण लोगों को रोजाना परेशानी उठानी पड़ती थी। अब इस समस्या का स्थायी समाधान मिलने जा रहा है।

इस रेलवे ओवरब्रिज के निर्माण की घोषणा राज्य सरकार ने बजट 2024-25 में की थी, लेकिन तकनीकी प्रक्रियाओं और निर्माण स्वीकृतियों में समय लगने के कारण प्रोजेक्ट आगे नहीं बढ़ सका। लम्बे समय से इंतजार कर रहे शहरवासियों के लिए अब राहत की खबर है।

इस महत्वपूर्ण प्रोजेक्ट का कार्य सार्वजनिक निर्माण विभाग (PWD) को सौंपा गया है। विभाग ने ओवरब्रिज के लिए 52 करोड़ रुपए की अनुमानित लागत का विस्तृत प्रोजेक्ट रिपोर्ट (DPR) तैयार कर सरकार को भेजी थी। सरकार ने DPR सहित लागत राशि को मंजूरी प्रदान कर दी है। इसके बाद अब ओवरब्रिज निर्माण के लिए निविदा प्रक्रिया (Tender Process) शुरू की जाएगी।

 622 मीटर लंबा और 15 मीटर चौड़ा होगा ब्रिज

मिली जानकारी के अनुसार, ओवरब्रिज की कुल लंबाई 622 मीटर होगी और यह 15 मीटर चौड़ा टू-लेन होगा। इससे नागणेचीजी मंदिर रोड से सीधे रानी बाजार औद्योगिक क्षेत्र तक आवागमन में बड़ा सुधार आएगा। सेकेंडरी व कमर्शियल व्हीकल मूवमेंट भी बिना रुकावट संभव हो सकेगा।

 रेलवे ने भी जारी की स्वीकृति

इस निर्माण के लिए सबसे महत्वपूर्ण तकनीकी स्वीकृति GAD (General Arrangement Drawing) होती है, जिसे रेलवे ने 13 अगस्त को मंजूरी दे दी थी। इस स्वीकृति के बिना परियोजना शुरू नहीं हो सकती थी, इसलिए यह कदम महत्वपूर्ण माना जा रहा है।

 क्यों जरूरी है यह ओवरब्रिज?

इस रेलवे फाटक पर दिनभर में कई बार गेट बंद होने से बड़ी संख्या में वाहन रुकते हैं।

• एम्बुलेंस, स्कूल वाहन व कामकाजी लोगों को परेशानी

• औद्योगिक क्षेत्र में माल ढुलाई पर असर

ओवरब्रिज बन जाने से

✅ यात्रा समय कम होगा
✅ औद्योगिक क्षेत्र में व्यावसायिक गतिविधियाँ तेज़ होंगी
✅ दुर्घटनाओं की संभावना कम होगी

 जल्द शुरू होगा निर्माण

निविदा प्रक्रिया पूरी होते ही निर्माण कार्य शुरू कर दिया जाएगा। उम्मीद है कि ओवरब्रिज तैयार होने के बाद यह बीकानेर शहर के ट्रैफिक सिस्टम में बड़ा बदलाव लाएगा।

The path is now clear for the construction of the long-pending railway overbridge on the route from Naganechiji Temple Road, via the Women's Police Station, to the Rani Bazaar industrial area. The state government has released a budget of ₹40 crore for this project, after which the overbridge construction process has moved forward. People in Bikaner city faced daily inconvenience due to constant traffic jams and delays at this railway crossing. Now, a permanent solution to this problem is finally in sight.

The state government had announced the construction of this railway overbridge in the 2024-25 budget, but due to delays in technical procedures and construction approvals, the project could not move forward. This is now a relief for the city residents who have been waiting for a long time.

The Public Works Department (PWD) has been entrusted with this important project. The department had prepared a Detailed Project Report (DPR) with an estimated cost of ₹52 crore for the overbridge and submitted it to the government. The government has approved the DPR along with the estimated cost. Following this approval, the tender process for the construction of the overbridge will now begin.

 Bridge will be 622 meters long and 15 meters wide

According to the information received, the total length of the overbridge will be 622 meters and it will be a 15-meter wide two-lane bridge. This will significantly improve traffic flow from Naganechiji Temple Road directly to the Rani Bazaar industrial area. Secondary and commercial vehicle movement will also be possible without interruption.

 Railway also issued approval

The most important technical approval for this construction is the GAD (General Arrangement Drawing), which the Railways approved on August 13.  The project could not have started without this approval, so this step is considered crucial.

 Why is this overbridge necessary?

A large number of vehicles are held up at this railway crossing several times a day due to the frequent closure of the gates. Daily Traffic Congestion

With the construction of the overpass:
