अमृत योजना 2.0: झुंझुनूं में 23 करोड़ की जल परियोजना, 10 हजार घरों को मिलेगा नया पानी कनेक्शन

झुंझुनूं जिले के निवासियों के लिए बड़ी राहत देने वाली खबर सामने आई है। अमृत योजना 2.0 के अंतर्गत शहर में 23 करोड़ रुपये की पेयजल परियोजना को मंजूरी दी गई है, जिसके तहत अगले एक वर्ष में 10 हजार नए घरों को पानी के कनेक्शन दिए जाएंगे। वर्तमान में शहर में लगभग 30 हजार पेयजल कनेक्शन उपलब्ध हैं और परियोजना पूर्ण होने पर यह संख्या बढ़कर 40,600 हो जाएगी।

पेयजल व्यवस्था को मजबूत करने के लिए जलदाय विभाग ने 100 किलोमीटर लंबी नई सप्लाई लाइन बिछाने की तैयारी कर ली है। इसके साथ ही शहर के विभिन्न हिस्सों में चार नई हाई-कैपेसिटी टंकियों का निर्माण कार्य तेजी से चल रहा है, जिन्हें बाद में कुंभाराम लिफ्ट कैनाल व ट्यूबवेल स्रोतों से जोड़ा जाएगा। इसके बाद नहरी जल सीधे घर-घर तक पहुंच सकेगा।

कौन-कौन सी टंकियां बन रही हैं और उनके लाभ क्षेत्र

गुढ़ा रोड – 4 लाख KL क्षमता की टंकी
इस टंकी से गुढ़ा रोड, श्याम नगर, विज्ञान नगर, अजाड़ी कॉलोनी, ग्रीन सिटी सहित करीब 12 कॉलोनियों में पहली बार नियमित पेयजल सप्लाई पहुंचेगी।
चूरू रोड – 3 लाख KL टंकी दीनदयाल नगर में
अफसाना जोहड़ क्षेत्र सहित दीनदयाल नगर और आसपास की कॉलोनियों को इससे नहरी पानी मिलेगा। यहां बड़ी आबादी अब तक सप्लाई से वंचित रही है।
बगड़ रोड – पंचदेव मंदिर परिसर में 5 लाख KL टंकी
समसपुर रोड, सूर्य विहार, मंड्रेला रोड और वसुंधरा नगर क्षेत्रों की जल जरूरत पूरी होगी। इसे भी कुंभाराम परियोजना से जोड़ने की तैयारी है।
मंशा माता पहाड़ी – सबसे बड़ी 6 लाख KL टंकी
मलसीसर रोड और NH-11 बाइपास क्षेत्र तक सप्लाई के लिए नई पाइप लाइन बिछाई जाएगी। यह झुंझुनूं की सबसे बड़ी स्टोरेज संरचना होगी।

काम की स्थिति क्या है?

PHED झुंझुनूं के एक्सईएन राकेश कुमार ओला ने बताया कि चारों लोकेशन पर टैंक निर्माण कार्य शुरू हो चुका है। पाइप लाइन लेआउट भी तैयार हो चुका है और जल्द ही बिछाने का कार्य शुरू होगा। परियोजना का उद्देश्य शहर को भविष्य के हिसाब से टिकाऊ जल नेटवर्क देना है।

AMRUT Yojana 2.0: Water project worth ₹23 crore launched in Jhunjhunu, providing new water connections to 10,000 households.

Residents of Jhunjhunu district have received great news. Under the Amrit Yojana 2.0 scheme, a ₹23 crore drinking water project has been approved for the city, under which 10,000 new households will receive water connections in the next one year. Currently, the city has approximately 30,000 drinking water connections, and this number will increase to 40,600 upon completion of the project.

To strengthen the water supply system, the Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) has prepared to lay a new 100-kilometer-long supply line. Simultaneously, construction of four new high-capacity water tanks is progressing rapidly in various parts of the city. These tanks will later be connected to the Kumbharam Lift Canal and tube well sources, allowing canal water to reach homes directly.

Which tanks are being built and their service areas?
Gudha Road – 4 lakh KL capacity tank
This tank will provide regular drinking water supply for the first time to approximately 12 colonies, including Gudha Road, Shyam Nagar, Vigyan Nagar, Ajadi Colony, and Green City.

Churu Road – 3 lakh KL tank in Deendayal Nagar
Deendayal Nagar and surrounding colonies, including the Afsana Johad area, will receive canal water from this tank. A large population in this area has been deprived of piped water supply until now.

Bagad Road – 5 lakh KL tank in Panchdev Temple complex
This tank will meet the water needs of Samaspur Road, Surya Vihar, Mandrela Road, and Vasundhara Nagar areas. Preparations are underway to connect it to the Kumbharam project.

Mansha Mata Hill – The largest 6 lakh KL tank
A new pipeline will be laid to supply water to the Malsisar Road and NH-11 bypass areas. This will be Jhunjhunu's largest water storage structure.

What is the status of the work?
Rakesh Kumar Ola, Executive Engineer of PHED Jhunjhunu, said that tank construction has started at all four locations. The pipeline layout has also been prepared, and laying work will begin soon.
