भरतपुर लोकसभा सीट से कांग्रेस की प्रत्याशी संजना जाटव जीत के करीब है. खुद कांग्रेस को भी उम्मीद नहीं थी किवो यहाँ से जीत दर्ज कर पाएगी. संजना करीब 53539 वोटों से जीत गई हैं. भरतपुर लोकसभा सीट अनुसूचित जाति के लिए आरक्षित है. उनके सामने भाजपा ने रामस्वरूप कोली थे . जिन्हें हार का सामना करना पड़ा है. भरतपुर ही नहीं कांग्रेस ने पूर्वी राजस्थान में अच्छा प्रदर्शन किया है. टोंक-सवाई माधोपुर और दौसा सीटों पर भी कांग्रेस आगे चल रही है.
कौन हैं संजना जाटव
संजना जाटव अलवर जिले के कठूमर तहसील के गांव समूंची की रहने वाली है. हालांकि, संजना जाटव का पीहर भरतपुर जिले के भूसावर में हैं. उनके पति कप्तान सिंह राजस्थान पुलिस में कांस्टेबल हैं. वहीं, संजना अलवर जिला परिषद सदस्य भी रह चुकी है. संजना ने एलएलबी की पढ़ाई की है. वहीं, कुछ समय से कांग्रेस में एक्टिव कार्यकर्ता के तौर पर अपनी भूमिका निभा रही हैं. वह एससी वर्ग के युवा चेहरे के तौर पर उभरी हैं. वहीं, संजना जब प्रियंका गांधी की अभियान लड़की हूं लड़ सकती हूं से जुड़ी तो वह उनकी गुडबुक में शामिल हो गई.
विधानसभा में सिर्फ 409 वोटों से हारीं थी संजना
प्रियंका गांधी के संपर्क में आने के बाद से उन्हें कांग्रेस में काफी तवज्जो मिलने लगा. संजना जाटव ने विधानसभा चुनाव कठूमर सीट से चुनाव लड़ी थी और बीजेपी प्रत्याशी रमेश खींची से महज 409 वोट से हार का सामना करना पड़ा था. शायद यही वजह है कि कांग्रेस ने उन पर लोकसभा चुनाव में भी भरोसा जताया है.
संजना को आगे बढ़ा रही रही कांग्रेस
संजना जाटव ने विधानसभा चुनाव में जीत के लिए काफी मेहनत की थी. उन्होंने लगातार कैंपेन किया था. उन्हें काफी जीत की उम्मीद थी. वहीं उन्हें हार मिलने के बाद भी वह क्षेत्र में लगी रहीं. संजना जाटव को पार्टी मंचों पर अपनी बात दमदारी से बात रखते हुए देखा गया है. भरतपुर में प्रदेश अध्यक्ष गोविंद सिंह डोटासरा भरतपुर दौरे के दौरान कह चुके थे कि कांग्रेस पार्टी युवा प्रत्याशी पर भरोसा जताएगी और उन्होंने कार्यकर्ता संवाद में बातो से ही संजना जाटव की ओर इशारा किया था
