A fine of Rs 3.55 lakh has been imposed. The guilty uncle went to Gujarat on the pretext of teaching her tailoring and kept her hostage and raped her for 4 months.

Yogesh Joshi, government lawyer of the Special POCSO Court, said that the court has completed the hearing in the case and has given its verdict today on Thursday. On October 8, 2022, the 17-year-old minor victim had lodged a report at Dovda police station. It was told that his uncle Bahadur Singh, son of Bherusingh, resident of Nithauwa, used to come to his house. In April 2022, the accused uncle asked his family members to get training in tailoring. For this he took him to Gujarat. Where he was kept at different places for 4 months. The accused kept raping her by threatening her.

Fine of Rs 3 lakh 55 thousand imposed
The accused used to threaten to kill if he told this to anyone. After this, somehow the family members got the information. In the case, the police arrested the minor and presented a challan in the court. While conducting the final hearing in the case, the court has sentenced the convict Bahadur Singh to 20 years of rigorous imprisonment under various sections. Besides, a fine of Rs 3 lakh 55 thousand has been imposed on the culprit.
