बलात्कार के मामले में पुलिस रिमांड पर चल रहे एक आरोपी की पुलिस कस्टडी में मौत हो गई। पुलिस मौत का कारण हीट स्ट्रोक से बता रही है। हालांकि पोस्टमार्टम रिपोर्ट के बाद ही मौत के सही कारणों का खुलासा हो पाएगा। पुलिस ने मंड्रेला थानाक्षेत्र की युवती से बलात्कार के मामले में पांच हजार रुपए के इनामी आरोपी वार्ड नंबर 17 मोहल्ला बुचाहेड़ा, कोतपूतली निवासी गौरव शर्मा को सिंधी कैंप बस स्टैंड जयपुर से 25 मई को गिरफ्तार किया था।

वह पिछले पांच दिन से पुलिस रिमांड पर था। उसे गुरुवार को कोर्ट में पेश किया जाना था। लेकिन बुधवार दोपहर तीन बजे उसकी तबीयत बिगड़ गई। पुलिस उसे बेहोशी की हालात में मंड्रेला सीएचसी लेकर पहुंची। जहां से उसे झुंझुनूं के बीडीके अस्पताल के लिए रैफर कर दिया। झुंझुनूं अस्पताल में चिकित्सकों ने उसे मृत घोषित कर दिया।

बलात्कार के मामलेे में आरोपी को गिरफ्तार कर रखा था। बुधवार शाम तीन बजे के करीब उसकी तबीयत बिगड़ गई। उल्टी-दस्त हो रहे थे। पहले उसे सीएचसी मंड्रेला ले गए थे। जहां से चिकित्सकों ने बीडीके रैफर किया। जहां पर चिकित्सकों ने उसे मृत घोषित कर दिया। प्रथमदृष्टया आरोपी की की मौत हीट स्ट्रोक से हुई है। अन्य कारणों का पता पोस्टमार्टम रिपोर्ट आने के बाद ही चलेगा।

Police had arrested Gaurav Sharma, resident of Ward No. 17 Mohalla Buchahera, Kotputli, who was carrying a reward of Rs 5,000 on his head, from Sindhi Camp Bus Stand, Jaipur on May 25 in the case of raping a girl from Mandrela police station area.

He was on police remand for the last five days. He was to be produced in court on Thursday. But his health deteriorated at 3 pm on Wednesday. Police took him to Mandrela CHC in an unconscious state. From where he was referred to BDK Hospital in Jhunjhunu. Doctors declared him dead in Jhunjhunu hospital.

The accused was arrested in a rape case. His health deteriorated around 3 pm on Wednesday. He was vomiting and suffering from diarrhea. First he was taken to CHC Mandrela. From where the doctors referred him to BDK. Where the doctors declared him dead. Prima facie the accused died of heat stroke. Other reasons will be known only after the postmortem report comes.
