बज्जू थाना क्षेत्र में स्थित बीकमपुर गांव के भारतीय स्टेट बैंक (SBI) शाखा में चोरी की बड़ी वारदात सामने आई है। अज्ञात चोरों ने बैंक में घुसकर लाइसेंसी 12 बोर बंदूक और 27 कारतूस चोरी कर लिए, जिससे इलाके में सनसनी फैल गई है। इस मामले में शाखा प्रबंधक शिवा पाण्डे पुत्र कमलेश कुमार पाण्डे द्वारा बज्जू थाने में रिपोर्ट दर्ज करवाई गई है।

रिपोर्ट के अनुसार यह वारदात 13 और 14 नवम्बर की मध्यरात्रि के दौरान हुई। चोर बैंक के पीछे की तरफ से घुसे, जहां उन्होंने पहले लोहे की ग्रिल को काटा और फिर शटर को तोड़कर अंदर दाखिल हुए। इसके बाद उन्होंने कैश रूम की ग्रिल तोड़ी और भीतर प्रवेश किया। बैंक की सुरक्षा व्यवस्था को चोरों ने बेहद योजनाबद्ध तरीके से भेद दिया।

सीसीटीवी फुटेज के मुताबिक, चोर रात करीब 11:50 बजे बैंक परिसर में दाखिल हुए थे। बैंक के अंदर प्रवेश करते ही उन्होंने सबसे पहले कैमरों को बंद कर दिया ताकि उनकी गतिविधियां रिकॉर्ड न हो सकें। इसके बाद उन्होंने बंदूक और कारतूस चोरी किए तथा वारदात को अंजाम देने के बाद मौके से फरार हो गए।

घटना की सूचना मिलते ही बज्जू पुलिस तुरंत मौके पर पहुंची और पूरे बैंक परिसर का निरीक्षण किया। फिंगरप्रिंट और अन्य साक्ष्य जुटाए गए। इस मामले की जांच एसआई मनीराम गोदारा को सौंपी गई है, जो चोरों के प्रवेश मार्ग, CCTV फुटेज और स्थानीय इनपुट के आधार पर जांच को आगे बढ़ा रहे हैं।

बैंक में सुरक्षा की दृष्टि से मौजूद लाइसेंसी बंदूक और कारतूस की चोरी को पुलिस बेहद गंभीर मान रही है, क्योंकि इस तरह के हथियार अपराधियों के हाथ में जाना बड़े खतरे का संकेत हो सकता है। ऐसे में पुलिस टीम इस मामले को प्राथमिकता के साथ देख रही है और आसपास के क्षेत्रों में जांच तेज कर दी गई है। साथ ही चोरों की पहचान के लिए तकनीकी जांच भी की जा रही है।

स्थानीय ग्रामीणों का कहना है कि बैंक के आसपास रात में आवाजाही कम रहती है, जिससे चोरों को वारदात को अंजाम देने में आसानी हुई। ग्रामीणों ने बैंक की सुरक्षा बढ़ाने और क्षेत्र में पुलिस गश्त मजबूत करने की मांग की है।

फिलहाल SBI बज्जू शाखा चोरी का यह मामला पूरे जिले में चर्चा का विषय बना हुआ है। पुलिस इस वारदात को चुनौती के रूप में लेते हुए चोरों का जल्द से जल्द पता लगाने में जुटी हुई है।

A major theft has occurred at the State Bank of India (SBI) branch in Beekampur village, located in the Bajju police station area. Unidentified thieves broke into the bank and stole a licensed 12-bore gun and 27 cartridges, causing widespread panic in the area. A report has been filed at the Bajju police station by branch manager Shiva Pandey, son of Kamlesh Kumar Pandey.

According to the report, the incident occurred between the midnight of November 13th and 14th. The thieves entered the bank from the back side, where they first cut the iron grill and then broke the shutter to gain entry. They then broke the cash room grill and entered. The thieves breached the bank's security system in a meticulously planned manner.

According to CCTV footage, the thieves entered the bank premises around 11:50 pm. Upon entering, they first turned off the cameras to prevent their activities from being recorded. They then stole the gun and cartridges and fled the scene after committing the crime.

Upon receiving information about the incident, Bajju police immediately arrived at the scene and inspected the entire bank premises. Fingerprints and other evidence were collected. The investigation has been assigned to SI Maniram Godara, who is proceeding with the investigation based on the thieves' entry route, CCTV footage, and local inputs.

The police are considering the theft of the licensed gun and cartridges, which were kept for security purposes in the bank, as a serious matter, as the fall of such weapons into the hands of criminals could signal a major threat. Consequently, the police team is treating the case with priority and has intensified investigations in the surrounding areas. Technical investigations are also being conducted to identify the thieves.

Local villagers say that there is little traffic around the bank at night, which made it easier for the thieves to carry out the crime. The villagers have demanded increased security at the bank and strengthened police patrols in the area.

The SBI Bajju branch theft has become a topic of discussion throughout the district. The police are taking this incident as a challenge and are working to locate the thieves as soon as possible.
