चूरू (11 जून 2025, MyCityDilse)। चूरू जिले के साण्डवा थाना क्षेत्र में मंगलवार को एक प्रेमी जोड़े ने कुंड में कूदकर अपनी जान दे दी। मृतकों की पहचान लालगढ़ निवासी भेंरुदान शर्मा और जोगलसर निवासी सुमन जाट के रूप में हुई है।

जानकारी के अनुसार, घटना स्थल पर एक बाइक खड़ी देखकर ग्रामीणों को संदेह हुआ। ग्रामीणों ने तत्काल साण्डवा पुलिस को सूचना दी। मौके पर पहुंची पुलिस ने ग्रामीणों की मदद से कुंड से दोनों के शव बाहर निकलवाए। पुलिस ने शवों को पोस्टमॉर्टम के लिए मोर्चरी में रखवाया है। परिजनों के पहुंचने के बाद पोस्टमॉर्टम की प्रक्रिया पूरी की जाएगी।

साण्डवा थानाधिकारी करतारसिंह ने बताया कि प्रारंभिक जांच में मामला आत्महत्या का प्रतीत हो रहा है। फिलहाल दोनों परिवारों और नजदीकियों से पूछताछ जारी है।

The police, who reached the spot, took out the bodies of both of them from the pond with the help of the villagers. The police have kept the bodies in the mortuary for postmortem. The postmortem process will be completed after the arrival of the family members.

Sandwa police station officer Kartar Singh said that in the preliminary investigation, the case appears to be a suicide. At present, interrogation of both the families and close ones is going on.
