बीकानेर: नहर में गिरे युवक का शव बरामद, पुलिस ने मर्ग दर्ज कर की जांच शुरू

महाजन:कस्बे के बीच से गुजरने वाली कंवरसेन लिफ्ट नहर में बुधवार को गिरे युवक का शव रात को नहर से बरामद किया गया। गुरुवार सुबह शव का पोस्टमार्टम करवाकर पुलिस ने शव परिजनों के सुपुर्द कर दिया। गौरतलब है कि बुधवार को कंवरसेन नहर की घोड़ा पुली से करीब आधा किमी दूर नहर किनारे एक मोटरसाइकिल लावारिस हालत में खड़ी होने व मौके पर एक जोड़ी चप्पल पड़ी होने की सूचना महाजन पुलिस को मिली। बाइक व चप्पल से युवक की पहचान कस्बे के वार्ड संख्या 15 निवासी अजय पुत्र सादक खां के रूप में हुई।

घटना की जानकारी मिलने पर युवक के परिजन भी मौके पर पहुंचे। पुलिस व परिजनों ने स्थानीय तैराकों की मदद से नहर में तलाशी अभियान चलाया था। तैराकों ने रात करीब 9 बजे नहर से युवक का शव बाहर निकाल लिया। पुलिस ने शव बरामद कर महाजन अस्पताल के मुर्दाघर में रखवाया। गुरुवार सुबह पोस्टमार्टम के बाद शव परिजनों को सौंप दिया गया। परिजनों की रिपोर्ट पर पुलिस ने मर्ग दर्ज कर जांच शुरू की है।

Mahajan: The body of a youth who fell into the Kanwarsen lift canal passing through the middle of the town on Wednesday was recovered from the canal at night. After getting the post-mortem done on Thursday morning, the police handed over the body to the family members. It is worth noting that on Wednesday, Mahajan police got information about a motorcycle standing abandoned on the bank of the canal, about half a kilometer away from the Ghoda Pulley of Kanwarsen Canal, and a pair of slippers lying on the spot. The youth was identified from the bike and slippers as Ajay, son of Sadak Khan, resident of ward number 15 of the town.

On getting information about the incident, the family members of the youth also reached the spot. Police and family members had launched a search operation in the canal with the help of local swimmers. Swimmers took out the body of the youth from the canal at around 9 pm. Police recovered the body and kept it in the mortuary of Mahajan Hospital. The body was handed over to the relatives after post-mortem on Thursday morning. Based on the report of the family members, the police have registered a case and started investigation.
