बीकानेर: अब कार-बाइक चलाते समय नहीं रखने होंगे कागज़, जानिए नया आदेश

बीकानेर। अगर आप कार या बाइक चलाते हैं और हर बार पुलिस चेकिंग के डर से ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस या वाहन पंजीयन प्रमाण-पत्र अपने साथ रखते हैं, तो अब आपके लिए राहत की खबर है। पुलिस मुख्यालय ने बड़ा फैसला लेते हुए कहा है कि अब वाहन चालकों को अपने वाहनों के भौतिक दस्तावेज अपने साथ रखने की जरूरत नहीं है।

पुलिस द्वारा जब भी कागजात दिखाने के लिए कहा जाए, चालक डीजी लॉकर (DigiLocker) या एम-परिवहन (mParivahan) ऐप में उपलब्ध डिजिटल कॉपी दिखा सकते हैं। इन डिजिटल दस्तावेज़ों को वैधानिक रूप से मूल दस्तावेज़ों के समान माना जाएगा।

भारत सरकार के इलेक्ट्रॉनिक एवं सूचना मंत्रालय ने पहले ही इन ऐप्स को कानूनी मान्यता दी हुई है। मंत्रालय ने यह स्पष्ट किया है कि इन ऐप्स में संग्रहीत ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस और पंजीकरण प्रमाण-पत्र को वैध माना जाएगा और इन्हें किसी भी सरकारी अथवा पुलिस जांच में स्वीकार करना अनिवार्य होगा।

फिर भी अब तक कई जगहों पर पुलिसकर्मी इन डिजिटल कागजातों को मान्यता नहीं देते हुए वाहन चालकों को भौतिक दस्तावेज़ पेश करने के लिए मजबूर करते रहे हैं। इसे देखते हुए पुलिस मुख्यालय (PHQ) ने अब सख्त रुख अपनाया है।

एडीजी स्मिता श्रीवास्तव की ओर से सभी जिलों के पुलिस अधीक्षकों (SP) को आदेश जारी किए गए हैं कि डिजिटल दस्तावेजों को वैध पहचान के रूप में स्वीकार किया जाए। आदेश में यह भी कहा गया है कि अगर कोई पुलिसकर्मी डिजिटल पहचान दिखाने के बाद भी वाहन चालक से भौतिक दस्तावेज मांगता है, तो उसके खिलाफ अनुशासनात्मक कार्रवाई की जाएगी।

इस आदेश के बाद अब बीकानेर सहित पूरे राजस्थान में वाहन चालकों को बड़ी राहत मिलेगी। अब वे अपने दस्तावेज़ों को सुरक्षित रखते हुए केवल डिजिटल फॉर्म में दिखा सकेंगे। इससे न केवल कागज़ी झंझट कम होगा बल्कि डिजिटल इंडिया अभियान को भी मजबूती मिलेगी।

राजस्थान पुलिस के इस फैसले से यह स्पष्ट हो गया है कि तकनीकी युग में अब पारंपरिक दस्तावेजों के बजाय डिजिटल पहचान को प्राथमिकता दी जाएगी। डीजी लॉकर और एम-परिवहन ऐप दोनों ही पूरी तरह सुरक्षित और सरकारी प्रमाणित प्लेटफॉर्म हैं।

वाहन चालकों के लिए सुझाव:

• अपने डीजी लॉकर या एम-परिवहन ऐप को मोबाइल में डाउनलोड करें।

• ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस और आरसी को लिंक करें।

• ऐप में लॉगिन रहने की स्थिति में बिना नेटवर्क के भी डॉक्यूमेंट दिखाए जा सकते हैं।

यह आदेश लागू होने से बीकानेर और आसपास के इलाकों में ट्रैफिक चेकिंग के दौरान लोगों को अनावश्यक परेशानियों से राहत मिलेगी। यह कदम डिजिटल सुविधा और पारदर्शिता की दिशा में एक बड़ा सुधार साबित होगा।

Bikaner. If you drive a car or bike and always carry your driving license or vehicle registration certificate with you for fear of police checking, there's some relief for you. Police Headquarters has taken a major decision, stating that drivers no longer need to carry physical documents for their vehicles.

Whenever the police ask for documents, drivers can show digital copies available in the DigiLocker or mParivahan apps. These digital documents will be legally recognized as equivalent to the original documents.

The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology of the Government of India has already granted legal recognition to these apps. The Ministry has clarified that the driving license and registration certificate stored in these apps will be considered valid and will be accepted in any government or police inspection.

Yet, in many places, police officers have been refusing to recognize these digital documents and forcing drivers to present physical documents. In light of this, the Police Headquarters (PHQ) has now adopted a strict stance.

Adgment Director General Smita Srivastava has issued orders to Superintendents of Police (SPs) of all districts to accept digital documents as valid identification. The order also states that if any police officer demands physical documents from a driver even after they have presented their digital identification, they will face disciplinary action.

This order will provide significant relief to drivers across Rajasthan, including Bikaner. They will now be able to keep their documents safe and submit them only in digital form. This will not only reduce paperwork but also strengthen the Digital India campaign.

This decision by the Rajasthan Police makes it clear that in this technological age, digital identification will be prioritized over traditional documents. Both the DG Locker and M-Parivahan apps are completely secure and government-certified platforms.

Link your driving license and RC.

Documents can be presented even without a network connection if you are logged into the app.
