जिले के पूगल थाना क्षेत्र से एक दर्दनाक खबर सामने आई है, जहां एक युवक ने अपनी ऑल्टो कार को नहर किनारे खड़ा कर उसमें छलांग लगा दी, जिससे उसकी मौके पर ही मौत हो गई। यह घटना 2 नवंबर की बताई जा रही है और आरडी 678 नहर के पास घटी। मृतक की पहचान श्रीगंगानगर निवासी रामनिवास (38) पुत्र रामेश्वरलाल जाट के रूप में हुई है।

मामले की जानकारी मिलने पर पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची और शव को नहर से बाहर निकलवाया। इस संबंध में मृतक के भाई जुगलाल जाट ने पूगल थाना में मर्ग रिपोर्ट दर्ज करवाई है। रिपोर्ट में बताया गया कि रामनिवास 2 नवंबर की सुबह करीब 10 बजे ऑल्टो कार से घर से निकला था, लेकिन उसके बाद वापस नहीं लौटा। परिजनों को जब देर शाम तक उसका कोई पता नहीं चला तो उन्होंने खोजबीन शुरू की।

इस दौरान जानकारी मिली कि नहर किनारे एक ऑल्टो कार खड़ी है, जिसके पास कोई नहीं है। मौके पर पहुंचकर जांच की गई तो 686 आरडी पर नहर में रामनिवास का शव मिला। पुलिस ने तुरंत शव को बाहर निकलवाया और पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भेज दिया।

जुगलाल ने पुलिस को बताया कि उसका भाई रामनिवास पिछले कुछ समय से मानसिक रूप से परेशान चल रहा था। परिवार ने कई बार उसे संभालने की कोशिश की, लेकिन वह तनाव में रहने लगा था। इसी कारण उसने यह कदम उठाया। परिवार ने कहा कि उन्हें किसी पर कोई शक या संदेह नहीं है, यह पूरी तरह से आत्महत्या का मामला है।

पुलिस ने मर्ग रिपोर्ट दर्ज कर जांच शुरू कर दी है। प्रारंभिक जांच में यह पाया गया कि नहर किनारे वाहन को सुरक्षित तरीके से पार्क किया गया था और फिर युवक ने जानबूझकर नहर में छलांग लगाई।

स्थानीय ग्रामीणों के अनुसार, नहर का वह हिस्सा गहरा है और तेज बहाव के कारण कोई भी व्यक्ति उसमें गिरने के बाद बाहर निकलना मुश्किल होता है। पुलिस अब फोन कॉल रिकॉर्ड और घटनास्थल की परिस्थितियों का अध्ययन कर रही है ताकि पूरे घटनाक्रम की पुष्टि हो सके।

इस घटना से पूरे क्षेत्र में शोक और सन्नाटा फैल गया है। ग्रामीणों ने प्रशासन से अपील की है कि मानसिक तनाव से जूझ रहे लोगों के लिए परामर्श सेवाओं और हेल्पलाइन नंबरों की जानकारी ग्रामीण स्तर तक पहुंचाई जाए।

Upon receiving information about the incident, the police reached the spot and retrieved the body from the canal. In this regard, the deceased's brother, Juglal ​​Jat, has filed a missing person report at the Pugal police station. The report states that Ramniwas left home in his Alto car around 10 am on November 2nd but did not return. When his family members could not find him until late in the evening, they started searching for him.

During the search, they learned that an Alto car was parked near the canal, with no one around. Upon reaching the spot and investigating, Ramniwas's body was found in the canal at 686 RD. The police immediately retrieved the body and sent it for post-mortem examination.

Juglal ​​told the police that his brother Ramniwas had been mentally disturbed for some time. The family had tried to help him several times, but he had become increasingly stressed. It is believed that this is why he took this extreme step. The family stated that they have no suspicion or doubt about anyone; it is entirely a case of suicide.

The police have registered a case and started an investigation. Preliminary investigations have revealed that the vehicle was safely parked near the canal, and the young man deliberately jumped into the canal.
