 राजस्थान में पहले चरण के लोकसभा चुनाव के लिए नामांकन 27 मार्च को समाप्त हो गई. बीकानेर लोकसभा निर्वाचन क्षेत्र से कांग्रेस प्रत्याशी गोविन्द राम मेघवाल और भाजपा प्रत्याशी अर्जुन राम मेघवाल नामांकन पत्र में अपनी चल-अचल संपत्ति का ब्योरा चुनाव सौंपा है.

बीकानेर संसदीय क्षेत्र के लिए बुधवार को लगभग एक ही समय में कांग्रेस प्रत्याशी गोविन्द राम मेघवाल और केंद्रीय कानून मंत्री अर्जुन राम मेघवाल ने अपने-अपने नामांकन दाख़िल किए,दोनों ही प्रत्याशियों ने नामांकन में अपनी-अपनी चल-अचल सम्पत्ति का विवरण दिया.

पांच साल में दोगुना हुई अर्जुन राम मेघवाल की संपत्ति
नामांकन से प्राप्त ब्यौरे के मुताबिक भाजपा उम्मीदवार अर्जुन राम मेघवाल की सम्पत्ति पिछले 5 सालों में एक करोड़ से अधिक बढ़ी है. लगातार चौथी बार चुनाव लड़ रहे अर्जुन मेघवाल ने नामांकन के साथ शपथ पत्र पेश कर अपनी चल और अचल सम्पत्ति का ख़ुलासा किया है.

अर्जुन मेघवाल के पास है लगभग ढाई करोड़ रुपए की चल सम्पत्ति
70 साल के अर्जुन राम एम. ए. और एल. एल.बी. तक शिक्षा प्राप्त है. उनकी चल सम्पत्ति दो करोड़, 28 लाख, 7 हज़ार, 657 रुपए है, जबकि उनकी अचल सम्पत्ति की बाजार क़ीमत 6 लाख है. इसके अलावा उनके पास 4 लाख की विरासत में मिली सम्पत्ति है. इस सारी सम्पत्ति में अर्जुन मेघवाल के पास तीन लाख 17 हज़ार रुपए का सोना और क़रीब एक लाख रुपए की क़ीमत के चाँदी के ज़ेवर हैं.

2019 में कानून मंत्री के पास थी करीब 1 करोड़ रुपए की चल-अचल संपत्ति
इसके अलावा उनके पास लाखों रुपए के बन्ध पत्र और जमाएं हैं. 2019 के लोकसभा चुनाव में अर्जुन राम मेघवाल ने अपनी चल सम्पत्ति एक करोड़, 6 लाख 47हज़ार, 629 रुपए की घोषित की थी. इसके अलावा अचल संपत्ति उन्होंने नौ लाख रुपए की बताई थी.

कांग्रेस प्रत्याशी गोविंद राम मेघवाल की चल-अचल संपत्ति का ब्यौरा
नामांकन पत्र में की गई घोषणा के मुताबिक बीकानेर लोकसभा सीट से कांग्रेस प्रत्याशी गोविन्द राम मेघवाल के पास 50 लाख, 38 हज़ार, 119 रुपए की चल सम्पत्ति और 3 करोड़, 57 लाख रुपए की अचल सम्पत्ति है. 62 साल के गोविंद राम मेघवाल एम. ए. तक शिक्षा प्राप्त है.

2018 में गोविंद मेघवाल के पास थी 27 लाख रुपए की चल-अचल संपत्ति
गहलोत सरकार में कैबिनेट मंत्री रहे गोविन्द राम मेघवाल द्वारा वर्ष 2018 में घोषित चल-अचल संपत्ति के ब्यौरे के मुताबिक उनकी कुल चल-अचल संपत्ति 26 लाख, 27 हज़ार, 621 रुपए की थी. इस तरह पिछले 6 साल में गोविंद राम मेघवाल की संपत्ति में 24 लाख, 10 हज़ार, 498 रुपए का इजाफा हुआ है.

लोकसभा चुनाव 2024 में कांग्रेस पार्टी की ओर गोविंद राम मेघवाल को बीकानेर लोकसभा सीट से भाजपा के कद्दावर नेता और कानून मंत्री अर्जुन राम मेघवाल के खिलाफ टिकट दिया है. अर्जुन राम मेघवाल चौधी बार बीकानेर लोकसभा सीट से चुनावी मैदान में उतरे हैं, जबकि अर्जुन मेघवाल लगातार तीन बार यहां से सांसद चुने जा चुके हैं.
