छतरगढ़ पुलिस थाना क्षेत्र में गुरुवार शाम एक सड़क हादसे में दो व्यक्तियों के घायल होने का मामला सामने आया है। जानकारी के अनुसार यह दुर्घटना राजासर से केला के बीच शाम करीब छह बजे के आसपास हुई, जब खेत से लौट रहे दो ग्रामीणों को एक कार ने जोरदार टक्कर मार दी। हादसे के बाद क्षेत्र में अफरा-तफरी का माहौल बन गया और स्थानीय लोगों ने तुरंत घायलों को संभालते हुए पुलिस को सूचना दी।

परिवादी कालुराम पुत्र लिछुराम ने पुलिस को दी रिपोर्ट में बताया कि सांवतराम और नत्थू राम खेत से अपने घर की ओर लौट रहे थे। दोनों सड़क के किनारे चल रहे थे, तभी अचानक तेज गति से आई कार ने उन्हें टक्कर मार दी। रिपोर्ट के अनुसार कार चालक अकबर अत्यधिक लापरवाही से वाहन चला रहा था, जिसके कारण यह हादसा हुआ। टक्कर इतनी तेज थी कि दोनों ग्रामीण सड़क पर गिरकर चोटिल हो गए। दुर्घटना के बाद परिजन व ग्रामीण मौके पर पहुंचे और घायलों को प्राथमिक उपचार के लिए नजदीकी अस्पताल ले जाया गया।

छतरगढ़ पुलिस थाना प्रभारी ने बताया कि घटना की सूचना मिलते ही पुलिस दल मौके पर पहुंचा और स्थिति का जायजा लिया। घायल व्यक्तियों के बयान और परिवादी की शिकायत के आधार पर कार चालक अकबर के खिलाफ मुकदमा दर्ज कर लिया गया है। पुलिस का कहना है कि मामले की गंभीरता को देखते हुए जांच तेज की जा रही है और वाहन को कब्जे में लेकर आवश्यक कार्रवाई की जा रही है।

स्थानीय लोगों का कहना है कि राजासर से केला तक का यह मार्ग अक्सर हादसों का केंद्र बनता जा रहा है। सड़क की स्थिति ठीक होने के बावजूद तेज रफ्तार और वाहन चालकों की लापरवाही के कारण आए दिन दुर्घटनाएं हो रही हैं। ग्रामीण क्षेत्र होने के कारण कई लोग पैदल या मोटरसाइकिल से गुजरते हैं, जिससे खतरा और भी बढ़ जाता है। लोगों ने मांग की है कि इस मार्ग पर यातायात नियंत्रण और पुलिस गश्त बढ़ाई जाए।

पुलिस ने यह भी बताया कि दुर्घटना के समय कार चालक मौके से भाग नहीं पाया, जिससे उसके खिलाफ त्वरित कार्रवाई संभव हो सकी। फिलहाल दोनों घायलों का अस्पताल में इलाज जारी है और उनकी स्थिति स्थिर बताई जा रही है। पुलिस मामले की गहराई से जांच कर रही है और दुर्घटना स्थल पर मौजूद लोगों के बयान भी लिए जा रहे हैं।

यह घटना एक बार फिर साबित करती है कि वाहन चलाते समय ज़रा सी लापरवाही भी किसी की जान पर भारी पड़ सकती है। ग्रामीणों ने प्रशासन से अपील की है कि क्षेत्र में यातायात नियमों के प्रति जागरूकता अभियान चलाया जाए और तेज रफ्तार वाहनों पर सख़्ती की जाए, ताकि भविष्य में ऐसे हादसों पर रोक लगाई जा सके।

Two people were injured in a road accident in the Chhatargarh police station area on Thursday evening. According to reports, the accident occurred around 6 p.m. between Rajasar and Kela, when two villagers returning from their fields were hit by a car. The accident caused chaos in the area, and locals immediately attended to the injured and informed the police.

Complainant Kaluram, son of Lichhuram, stated in his police report that Sanvatram and Nathu Ram were returning home from their fields. They were walking along the roadside when a speeding car suddenly struck them. According to the report, the driver, Akbar, was driving recklessly, causing the accident. The impact was so severe that both villagers were thrown onto the road and injured. Family members and villagers rushed to the scene after the accident, and the injured were taken to a nearby hospital for first aid.

The Chhatargarh police station in-charge stated that upon receiving information about the incident, a police team arrived at the scene and assessed the situation. Based on the statements of the injured and the complainant's complaint, a case has been registered against the car driver, Akbar. Police say that due to the seriousness of the matter, the investigation is being intensified and the vehicle is being seized and necessary action is being taken.

Local residents say that this route from Rajasar to Kela is a frequent accident spot. Despite the road's good condition, speeding and driver negligence are causing accidents. Being a rural area, many people travel on foot or by motorcycle, further increasing the risk. Residents have demanded increased traffic control and police patrolling on this route.

Police also stated that the car driver did not flee the scene at the time of the accident, which made swift action against him possible. Currently, both injured are undergoing treatment in the hospital and are reported to be in stable condition. Police are conducting a thorough investigation and are also taking statements from people present at the accident site.

This incident once again proves that even the slightest carelessness while driving can cost someone's life. Villagers have appealed to the administration to launch a traffic awareness campaign in the area and crack down on speeding vehicles to prevent such accidents in the future.
