राजस्थान में बिजली उपभोक्ताओं को लग सकता है झटका! टैरिफ बढ़ने की आशंका
जयपुर। राजस्थान में बिजली उपभोक्ताओं को जल्द ही महंगाई का झटका लग सकता है। राज्य की बिजली कंपनियों को करीब 100 अरब रुपये का घाटा हो चुका है। सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने हाल ही में आदेश दिया है कि तीन साल के भीतर इस घाटे को खत्म किया जाए।
सुप्रीम कोर्ट के निर्देश के अनुसार, सभी राज्यों और केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों को मार्च 2028 तक बिजली वितरण कंपनियों की नियामक संपत्तियों यानी घाटे का निपटान करना होगा। ऐसे में राजस्थान में प्रति यूनिट बिजली टैरिफ में करीब 1 रुपये तक की बढ़ोतरी की संभावना जताई जा रही है।
बिजली कंपनियों का कहना है कि घाटा पूरा करने के लिए टैरिफ संशोधन जरूरी है, नहीं तो सप्लाई और मेंटेनेंस पर असर पड़ सकता है। अगर प्रस्ताव को मंजूरी मिलती है, तो राज्य के लाखों उपभोक्ताओं के बिजली बिल में सीधा असर देखने को मिलेगा।

Jaipur. Electricity consumers in Rajasthan may soon get a shock of inflation. The state's power companies have incurred a loss of about Rs 100 billion. The Supreme Court has recently ordered that this loss should be eliminated within three years.
As per the Supreme Court's direction, all states and union territories will have to settle the regulatory assets i.e. losses of power distribution companies by March 2028. In such a situation, there is a possibility of an increase of about Rs 1 in the electricity tariff per unit in Rajasthan.
Power companies say that tariff revision is necessary to cover the losses, otherwise supply and maintenance may be affected. If the proposal is approved, then there will be a direct impact on the electricity bills of lakhs of consumers of the state.
