मिली जानकारी के अनुसार, रानी बाजार स्थित लक्की मॉडल स्कूल के पास रहने वाली पदमा खत्री पत्नी अशोक कुमार ने कोटगेट थाने में रिपोर्ट दर्ज करवाई है। उन्होंने बताया कि उनका बेटा क्रियांशु उर्फ चीकू (13) घर से सामान लेने के लिए निकला था, लेकिन काफी समय बीत जाने के बावजूद वह घर वापस नहीं लौटा।

परिजनों ने पहले अपने स्तर पर बच्चे की आसपास के इलाकों, रिश्तेदारों और दोस्तों में खोजबीन की, लेकिन कोई सुराग नहीं मिला। इसके बाद उन्होंने किसी अज्ञात व्यक्ति पर शक जताते हुए पुलिस में रिपोर्ट दर्ज करवाई।
