कोटपूतली। राजस्थान में संगठित अपराध पर सख्ती के तहत पुलिस को बड़ी सफलता हाथ लगी है। अंतरराज्यीय रोहित गोदारा गैंग से जुड़े 25 हजार के इनामी अपराधी ऋतिक उर्फ रितु गुर्जर (20) निवासी मोलाहेड़ा, थाना पनियाला, जिला कोटपूतली-बहरोड़ को पुलिस ने दबिश देकर गिरफ्तार कर लिया। उसके कब्जे से एक देशी पिस्टल, दो देशी कट्टे और दो जिंदा कारतूस बरामद किए गए हैं। पुलिस का कहना है कि आरोपी बड़ी वारदात की तैयारी में था।

इस कार्रवाई की जानकारी देते हुए पुलिस अधीक्षक देवेंद्र कुमार बिश्नोई ने बताया कि पुलिस को मुखबिर के जरिए सूचना मिली कि रोहित गोदारा गैंग से जुड़ा इनामी अपराधी ऋतिक उर्फ रितु गुर्जर हाउसिंग बोर्ड इलाके में घूम रहा है और किसी आपराधिक घटना को अंजाम देने की फिराक में है। सूचना की पुष्टि के बाद एक विशेष टीम गठित की गई और इलाके में दबिश दी गई।

पुलिस ने मौके पर पहुंचकर आरोपी को संदिग्ध हालत में पकड़ा। तलाशी के दौरान उसके पास से एक पिस्टल, दो कट्टे और दो जिंदा कारतूस मिले। हथियारों की बरामदगी होने के बाद आरोपी को हिरासत में लिया गया और थाने में पूछताछ की गई।

पुलिस के अनुसार, प्रारंभिक पूछताछ में आरोपी ने माना कि वह रोहित गोदारा गैंग के सक्रिय सदस्य नरेंद्र उर्फ नारू के संपर्क में था और उसके निर्देश पर हथियारों की सप्लाई कर रहा था। साथ ही इलाके में किसी बड़ी वारदात की तैयारी की जा रही थी। आरोपी के खिलाफ पनियाला और आसपास के थानों में पहले से भी कई आपराधिक मुकदमे दर्ज हैं।

पुलिस ने हथियारों को कब्जे में लेकर आरोपी के खिलाफ आर्म्स एक्ट और अन्य धाराओं में मुकदमा दर्ज कर लिया है। पुलिस अब यह भी जांच कर रही है कि हथियार कहां से लाए गए और किस-किस तक इसकी सप्लाई होनी थी।

पुलिस अधीक्षक ने बताया कि जिले में सक्रिय गैंगस्टर नेटवर्क पर लगातार निगरानी रखी जा रही है। पिछले कुछ महीनों में कई अपराधियों को गिरफ्तार किया गया है और आगे भी अभियान जारी रहेगा।

इस गिरफ्तारी को संगठित अपराध के खिलाफ बड़ी सफलता के रूप में देखा जा रहा है क्योंकि वारदात से पहले ही आरोपी को पकड़ लिया गया, जिससे संभावित अपराध रोका जा सका। पुलिस के अनुसार अन्य सदस्यों और सप्लाई चैन का भी जल्द खुलासा होने की उम्मीद है।

They arrested Hritik alias Ritu Gurjar (20), a resident of Molaheda, Paniala police station, Kotputli-Behror district, a wanted criminal with a reward of Rs. 25,000 on his head, who is associated with the inter-state Rohit Godara gang. A country-made pistol, two country-made guns, and two live cartridges were recovered from his possession. Police say the accused was planning a major crime.

Giving details of the operation, Superintendent of Police Devendra Kumar Bishnoi said that the police received information from an informant that Hritik alias Ritu Gurjar, a wanted criminal associated with the Rohit Godara gang, was roaming in the Housing Board area and was planning to commit a crime. After verifying the information, a special team was formed and a raid was conducted in the area.

The police apprehended the accused in a suspicious condition. During the search, a pistol, two guns, and two live cartridges were recovered from him. After the recovery of the weapons, the accused was taken into custody and interrogated at the police station.

According to the police, during preliminary questioning, the accused confessed that he was in contact with Narendra alias Naru, an active member of the Rohit Godara gang, and was supplying weapons on his instructions. He also admitted that preparations were underway for a major crime in the area. Several criminal cases are already registered against the accused in Paniala and surrounding police stations.

The police have seized the weapons and registered a case against the accused under the Arms Act and other relevant sections. The police are also investigating the source of the weapons and to whom they were to be supplied.

The Superintendent of Police said that continuous surveillance is being maintained on the active gangster network in the district. Several criminals have been arrested in the past few months, and the operation will continue.

This arrest is being seen as a major success against organized crime because the accused was apprehended before he could commit the crime, thus preventing a potential offense. According to the police, they expect to uncover other members of the gang and the supply chain soon.
