बड़ा भ्रष्टाचार कांड उजागर देश में अधिक संपत्ति मामले में 10 वरिष्ठ  अधिकारी पर छापेमारी

कर्नाटक में मंगलवार सुबह भ्रष्टाचार के खिलाफ बड़ी कार्रवाई देखने को मिली, जब लोकायुक्त टीम ने राज्य के 10 वरिष्ठ सरकारी अधिकारियों के ठिकानों पर एक साथ छापेमारी की। आय से अधिक संपत्ति और संदिग्ध वित्तीय लेनदेन से जुड़े इन मामलों ने पूरे सरकारी तंत्र में हलचल पैदा कर दी है। बताया जा रहा है कि यह छापेमारी तड़के सुबह शुरू हुई और कई जिलों में एक साथ ऑपरेशन चलाया गया।

लोकायुक्त अधिकारियों के अनुसार, जिन अफसरों पर कार्रवाई की गई है, उनमें मंड्या टाउन म्युनिसिपैलिटी के मुख्य लेखा अधिकारी पुट्टास्वामी सी., बीदर में अपर कृष्णा प्रोजेक्ट के मुख्य अभियंता प्रेम सिंह, मैसूरु के हूटगली नगरपालिका के राजस्व निरीक्षक रामास्वामी सी. और कर्नाटक विश्वविद्यालय, धारवाड़ के समाजशास्त्र विभाग के सहायक प्रोफेसर सुभाष चंद्र शामिल हैं। इन अधिकारियों से जुड़े आवासों, कार्यालयों और अन्य संभावित ठिकानों पर छापे मारे गए, जहां से महत्वपूर्ण दस्तावेज और प्रमाण मिलने की संभावना है।

जानकारी के मुताबिक, यह कोई सामान्य छापेमारी नहीं थी, बल्कि एक सुव्यवस्थित नेटवर्क के तहत भ्रष्टाचार को जड़ से पकड़ने के उद्देश्य से की गई कार्रवाई थी। लोकायुक्त जांच दल ने बताया कि कई अधिकारियों की संपत्तियों और बैंक लेनदेन में अनियमितताओं के संकेत मिले थे, जिसके आधार पर कार्रवाई की गई।

छापेमारी की यह कवरेज केवल एक-दो जिलों तक सीमित नहीं रही, बल्कि राज्य के कई हिस्सों में फैल गई। इसमें हूइलगोल, धारवाड़ स्थित प्राथमिक पशुचिकित्सा क्लिनिक के वरिष्ठ पशुचिकित्सा परीक्षक सतीश, हावेरी स्थित प्रोजेक्ट डायरेक्टर कार्यालय के कार्यकारी अभियंता शेखप्पा, और बेंगलुरु इलेक्ट्रॉनिक सिटी के आरटीओ कार्यालय अधीक्षक कुमारस्वामी पी. भी शामिल हैं। इनके परिसरों पर भी टीम ने आय से अधिक संपत्ति से जुड़े दस्तावेज खंगाले।

जांच में शिवमोग्गा के एसआईएमएस मेडिकल कॉलेज के प्रथम श्रेणी सहायक लक्ष्मीपति सीएन, दावणगेरे एपीएमसी के सहायक निदेशक प्रभु जे., और मैसूरु-मडिकेरी पीडब्ल्यूडी में कार्यरत सहायक कार्यकारी अभियंता गिरीश डी.एम. भी शामिल पाए गए हैं। लोकायुक्त के मुताबिक, अब इन अफसरों के बैंक अकाउंट, संपत्ति दस्तावेज, चल-अचल संपत्तियों और अन्य गुप्त निवेशों की पूरी जांच की जाएगी।

सूत्रों का कहना है कि छापेमारी में भारी मात्रा में कागजात, इलेक्ट्रॉनिक उपकरण और संदिग्ध रिकॉर्ड मिलने की संभावना है। अधिकारियों ने स्पष्ट किया कि जांच पूरी होने के बाद ही इन मामलों में अगला कदम उठाया जाएगा।

कर्नाटक में लोकायुक्त की यह बड़ी कार्रवाई सरकार के भ्रष्टाचार विरोधी अभियान को मजबूती देती है और यह संदेश भी देती है कि किसी भी स्तर पर भ्रष्टाचार बर्दाश्त नहीं किया जाएगा।

A major corruption scandal has been exposed, with raids on 10 senior officials in connection with a case of disproportionate assets.

Karnataka witnessed a major crackdown on corruption on Tuesday morning, when the Lokayukta team simultaneously raided the premises of 10 senior government officials. These cases, involving disproportionate assets and suspicious financial transactions, have created a stir throughout the government machinery. The raids reportedly began early in the morning and were conducted simultaneously in several districts.

According to Lokayukta officials, the officers targeted include Puttaswamy C., Chief Accounts Officer of the Mandya Town Municipality, Prem Singh, Chief Engineer of the Upper Krishna Project in Bidar, Ramaswami C., Revenue Inspector of the Hootgali Municipality in Mysuru, and Subhash Chandra, Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology at Karnataka University, Dharwad. The raids were conducted at residences, offices, and other potential locations linked to these officials, where important documents and evidence are likely to be recovered.

According to reports, this was not a routine raid, but a well-organized operation aimed at rooting out corruption. The Lokayukta investigation team stated that several officials had received indications of irregularities in their properties and bank transactions, based on which action was taken.

The raids were not limited to just one or two districts but extended to several parts of the state. These included Satish, Senior Veterinary Examiner at the Primary Veterinary Clinic in Huilgol, Dharwad; Shekhappa, Executive Engineer at the Project Director's Office in Haveri; and Kumaraswamy P., Superintendent of the RTO Office in Bengaluru Electronic City. The team also searched their premises for documents related to disproportionate assets.

The investigation also identified Lakshmipathy C.N., a first-class assistant at SIMS Medical College in Shivamogga; Prabhu J., Assistant Director of the Davangere APMC; and Girish D.M., Assistant Executive Engineer at the Mysuru-Madikeri Public Works Department. According to the Lokayukta, a thorough investigation will now be conducted into the bank accounts, property documents, movable and immovable assets, and other undisclosed investments of these officials.

Sources say the raids are likely to yield a large quantity of documents, electronic devices, and incriminating records. Officials clarified that further action in these cases will be taken only after the investigation is complete.

This major action by the Lokayukta in Karnataka strengthens the government's anti-corruption campaign and sends a message that corruption will not be tolerated at any level.
