बीकानेर में इन दिनों चल रहा वैडिंग सीजन चोरों के लिए मौका बन गया है। शहर के अधिकांश एरिया में चोर सक्रिय है और पुलिस किसी भी चोरी का पर्दाफाश करने में पूरी तरह विफल रही है। मुरलीधर व्यास नगर में एक ही रात में पच्चीस लाख रुपए के सोने के आभूषण चोरी होने की घटना के बाद अब गंगाशहर के शिव वैली और नयाशहर के ही चौखूंटी क्षेत्र में चोरी की वारदातें हुई है।
मुरलीधर व्यास नगर में एक के बाद एक चोरी हो रही है लेकिन यहां गश्त जैसा कुछ नहीं है। कभी कभार पुलिस एक गाड़ी राजस्थानी भाषा साहित्य अकादमी कार्यालय के पास आकर खड़ी हो जाती है। इन दिनों तो ये औपचारिकता भी नहीं हो रही है। सुबोध डागा के घर पर चोरी हुई, तब वो विवाह समारोह में हिस्सा लेने गए हुए थे। चोरों के हाथ में तरह-तरह के हथियार थे और ताले तोड़ने का सामान भी। सीसीटीवी फुटेज में साफ नजर आ रहा है कि वो गली के हर घर के गेट को टॉर्च से देख रहे थे। चोरों ने घर पर ताला देखकर ही चोरी की योजना बनाई थी। ऐसे में अगर क्षेत्र में गश्त होती तो ऐसी घटनाएं नहीं होती।
एक रात में दो जगह चोरी
नयाशहर थाना क्षेत्र के ही चौखूंटी में चोरों ने बंद मकान से लाखों रुपए की ज्वेलरी चोरी की है। मकान मालिक अजय कुमार स्वामी का घर बंद था। वो परिवार सहित बाहर गए हुए थे। इस बीच किसी ने घर का ताला तोड़कर अंदर रखी ज्वेलरी और नगदी चोरी कर ली। पड़ौसी ने फोन करके स्वामी को सूचना दी, इसके बाद वो घर पहुंचे। उनकी पत्नी का मंगलसूत्र चांदी का हार, बिछुड़ी के साथ चोर साड़ियां भी ले गया। गंगाशहर थाने के शिव वैली स्थित मंदिर में भी चोरी हुई है। मंदिर पुजारी गोपाल कृष्ण शर्मा ने पुलिस को दी रिपोर्ट में कहा है कि करीब सत्तर हजार रुपए कीमत का सामान मंदिर से चोरी हो गया।
पुलिस का दावा, कुछ संकेत मिले
उधर, अतिरिक्त पुलिस अधीक्षक हरीशंकर ने बताया कि मुरलीधर व्यास कॉलोनी में हुई चोरी में कुछ संकेत मिले हैं, जिन पर काम किया जा रहा है। उन्होंने दावा किया कि पुलिस जल्दी ही चोरों को पकड़ने में सफल होगी। उन्होंने बताया कि जल्द ही गश्त व्यवस्था को मजबूत किया जाएगा।

Thefts are happening one after the other in Murlidhar Vyas Nagar but there is nothing like patrolling here. Sometimes a police vehicle comes and stops near the Rajasthani Bhasha Sahitya Akademi office. These days even this formality is not happening. Theft took place at Subodh Daga’s house when he had gone to attend a marriage ceremony. The thieves had different types of weapons in their hands as well as tools to break locks. It is clearly visible in the CCTV footage that he was looking at the gate of every house in the street with a torch. The thieves had planned the theft only after seeing the lock on the house. In such a situation, if there was patrolling in the area, such incidents would not have happened.
Robbery at two places in one night
Thieves have stolen jewelry worth lakhs of rupees from a locked house in Chaukhunti of Nayashahar police station area. The house of landlord Ajay Kumar Swamy was locked. He had gone out with his family. Meanwhile someone broke the lock of the house and stole the jewelery and cash kept inside. The neighbor called and informed Swami, after which he reached home. The mangalsutra silver necklace of his wife, the thief also took sarees along with the separation. Theft has also taken place in the temple located in Shiv Valley of Gangashahar police station. Temple priest Gopal Krishna Sharma has said in the report given to the police that goods worth about seventy thousand rupees were stolen from the temple.
Police claim, got some clues
On the other hand, Additional Superintendent of Police Harishankar told that some indications have been found in the theft in Muralidhar Vyas Colony, which are being worked upon. He claimed that the police would soon be able to nab the thieves. He informed that soon the patrolling system will be strengthened.
